On June 24, 2017, Appalachian Test Prep LLC will offer a free SAT/ACT workshop at the Pennington Gap Community Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The title of this workshop is: “Introduction to the SAT/ACT; Introduction to Test Taking Strategies.” There will be no cost to attend. This workshop will be taught by Joshua Ely, CEO of Appalachian Test Prep LLC. Mr. Ely is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Law, East Tennessee State University’s Graduate and Undergraduate schools, and Mountain Empire Community College.
Ely has, for many years, taught various graduate and undergraduate test prep courses and specializes in the LSAT. He also has graduate degrees and courses of work in history and physics, and undergraduate work in history, mathematics and astronomy.
The workshop on June 24 is geared for general instruction and aimed at allowing any student to excel at the ACT and SAT. Additional dates for the workshop are July 22 and August 26, 2017, also from 10 to 12.
