Is the source enough for next season?

Most of the anime series did not conclude in lack of source material or the projected budget. If we look at the source of this anime, the light novel that began serialization in 2010 and it was last published in 2018, since then there are no new volumes.

Season 1 with 24 episodes covered only the 9 volumes of the light novel and there are only 16 volumes of the manga. Moreover, the novel released slows down year to year, which creates the future of next season in a vague situation. It can be concluded that the source material is not enough unless the next episodes are squeezed from the remaining volumes. It would be interesting to see if the makers come back with the new season.
