Food Wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6: Happening or cancelled?

Anime Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars) is all about cooking wars. In terms of popularity and critical acclaim, the anime adaptation of the popular manga of the same name has responded similarly to the manga version. After food wars season 5, fans hope if Food wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6 has any possibility.

All good things must cease to exist, and Food Wars was no exception. The fifth season of the fan-favourite anime was completed in September 2020. But besides the series’ approved ending, the viewing public isn’t willing to let go. Food Wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6 is becoming increasingly popular IN THIS CASE; Studio J.C. is almost sure to catch the attention of the number of fans who have signed petitions to bring the anime back. If so, when will we be served the Sixth Plate from the studio’s kitchen? What does the future hold for the world-famous series? What you need to know about it can be found in these details:

Food Wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6 Release date

Even though we would adore watching Food Wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6, it does seem improbable that it will happen. Season 5 of Food Wars was renewed immediately after season 4 finished. Season 5 will, however, be the series’ final season. Season 5 (Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate) came to an end on September 25th, 2020, and fans were left in tears.

Viewers must not take anything for granted, though, since the anime would resurface in the shape of OVAs, a prequel series, or even a movie. Neither OVAs nor film plans for the hit show have been officially confirmed, so it seems like a reasonable wait for years!

Food Wars Shokugeki no Souma season 6 Plot

The plot features Soma Yukihira, a young man who dreams of becoming a full-time restaurateur in his dad’s eatery. To amaze his father, Suma intends to prepare food for a feast. He enrols in the Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary school where students compete in cooking wars with one another… Soma has been honing his abilities for most of the series and trying to establish himself as a chef.

To our surprise, Erina’s older brother Asahi was revealed in the last episode. He was in love with his half-sister and intended to marry her at a specific moment. Thus this disclosure drew in the incest elements. Before marrying Mana, Azami ditched Asahi; therefore, he didn’t owe the apologies he received in Food Wars’ last episode. Except for Asami, Asahi struggled with the lack of a family, and it would be far nicer if he concentrated on seeking his family rather than marrying Erina.

Another aspect of Soma that stands out is his out-of-character behaviour in conclusion. He was sure of his ability to prevail even before the contest. Soma’s most distinguishing characteristic is his willingness to accept defeat and get something out of it that he can apply in the future Shokugeki. However, he was unhappy after losing in the championship to Erina, which is unusual for him. His dish’s objective is to compel Erina to focus all of her talents on this challenge. Finally, Erina admitted that she has feelings for Soma and that she loves him. And to be frank, is this how we wanted to end this series? Even though the anime’s season finale was undoubtedly not its finest, it still disclosed some startling information. Unfortunately, all indications point to there being no further instalments in the series. Food Wars Season 6’s happy ending isn’t that pleasant.
