Michael Trucco, Henry Thomas, and Igby Rigney will also appear on the show. Rahul Abburi and Crystal Balint are also coming to make your piss your pants with fear.  

Midnight Mass Plot

Midnight Mass centers on a tiny island town facing scary portents and supernatural miracles after a mystery priest arrives on the scene. He’ll work with actors from both The Haunting series and his earlier flicks in the new series.

The residents of Crockett Island already exist in a diverse nation, which is exacerbated by the entrance of Matt Saracen (played by Zach Gilford) and Father Paul, a lovely and intriguing priest (played by Hamish Linklater). According to Netflix, mysterious and otherworldly happenings occur on the island due to the priest’s arrival, prompting “renewed religious zeal” among its people. These miracles, however, may come at a price, as the islanders soon discover.

On Netflix, Flanagan writes that “Midnight Mass is [his] favorite project.” It is very personal to me as a former altar boy who is about to celebrate three years of sobriety. To the heart of my being, I am terrified by the ideas at the center of this play,” he wrote. Crockett Island is engulfed in darkness. But the scariest of all is human nature. “Unfortunately, the darkness that drives this novel is not difficult to recognize in our world.” Yet another aspect of the show’s storyline is revealed by its creator, director, and executive producer: “Faith.” Nature’s most enduring mystery is human nature, how we sing even at the darkest of times when there is no light — or hope — to be found in the situation. “I sincerely hope you appreciate our music.’ –
