Christina Aguilera and Others Ready to Rock in Ladyland Festival! Did you get your tickets yet?

LadyLand is a queer music festival, Pride party, and intimate concert in Brooklyn, New York, honoring some of the best queer performers and gay icons! LadyLand is a festival for everyone, and everyone’s invited…It is, however, a deliberately strange homely place. Any homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, any aggressiveness, or violence toward others will be met with ZERO tolerance at Ladyland, so if you’re a negative witch, this might not be the place for you.

Be a part of our army of lovers at Ladyland!

The yearly festival, coordinated by Ladyfag of New York nightlife, arrives for the first time since 2019, when Russian feminist collective Pussy Riot performed a rare headline set alongside DJ Honey Dijon, Drag Race season 11 winner Yvie Oddly, and others. At this year’s festival, all attendees will be required to show confirmation of full immunization done at least two weeks before the event.

Event Date

The festival is set to rock on September 11, so you are advised to sort out your schedules already.

Schedule and lineup information

Only in our most exquisite imaginations could we have envisaged queer nightlife curating two days of music festival bliss for WorldPride. And here’s the take: the lineup is incredible. The 2021 schedule for LadyFag’s annual LadyLand Festival, which will take place on September 11 at Brooklyn Mirage, has been released.

You can expect a slew of queer vendors and disgusting aesthetics to top off Pride Weekend’s most iconic night. Although Pride Month has passed, Christina Aguilera is ready to continue the celebrations in September.

The pop singer was revealed as the headliner for LadyLand 2021, Ladyfag’s now-annual lesbian music event in Brooklyn, on Friday (Aug. 20). Caroline Polachek, co-founder of Chairlift, will also play at the Brooklyn Mirage on Sept. 11, alongside other LGBTQ artists and advocates. Christina will be joined by Aquaria, Skin, Nina Sky, La Goony Chonga, and other Drag Race season 10 winners.

LadyLand 2021 will be Aguilera’s first-ever show in New York City since her Liberation World Tour headline show at Radio City Music Hall in 2018. Following the epidemic, the diva returned to live performance with two shows at the Hollywood Bowl, where she reinterpreted many of her biggest hits with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

How to get the ticket and for how much

The cost of the tickets is $131.94. VIP tickets are $190 and contain a t-shirt or a bag from the festival’s official website.

Covid related information

LadyLand began in 2018 and is organized by Ladyfag, a promoter. Musical acts, drag shows, DJ sets, and performance artists will be featured throughout the one-day festival. To attend this event, you must be fully vaccinated with both shots. This implies you’ll have to wait 14 days following your second shot. Also, you will have to carry your mask or a set of 2 masks and hand sanitizers for safety purposes. You will be required to maintain the covid related decorum throughout the event.

Are you prepared to make an eye-catchy discovery? Hot shorts and platform shoes, shimmering skirts and shirts, the trendiest strappy-leather-mesh ensembles, and bright eye makeup that could be seen from miles away were among the standout looks. The endless ways to wear a rainbow — an allover dye job, a miniature tutu, even free-flowing fringes that hung from your arms and billowed gloriously in the breeze — are also noteworthy.

The concentration on inclusivity — not just a nice to have, but a must for life — is the motivating factor behind Ladyfag’s queer festival, Ladyland, which is scheduled to take place in just a few days. The initial roster is stunning, more of an occasion of uniqueness than a haven (though it is both).

“No gay connotation meant, but it’s completely fitting- Ladyfag says when there’s a hole that has to be lined. Ladyfag, as one of New York City’s top gay nightlife producers and a true worldwide party girl, knows what works and what doesn’t, as well as what’s lacking from the city’s queer nightlife. “I’ll at least try to accomplish it if there’s somewhere I want to go to that doesn’t exist, or if there are distinct worlds that I think need to be joined that aren’t yet combined.” While there are LGBT music festivals all over the world, New York City did not have its own queer music event. But now it has! So what are you waiting for? Grab your rainbow dresses, maybe something else you want! Put on em accessories, shop if you don’t have one, and get ready to rock and roll in this nightlife specially curated for the rainbow peeps.
