The debut of Aha! ExpressJet’s “air-hotel-adventure” leisure brand signaled the airline’s rebirth. Aha! will begin flying from its home base at Reno-Tahoe International Airport to eight destinations across the western United States on October 24, 2021, combining value-priced rates with nonstop flights.
Nonstop Flights to Reno-Tahoe Coming to Underserved Communities
Reno-based air service Aha! has selected cities that do not currently have nonstop service to Reno-Tahoe, allowing travelers to take advantage of convenient one-to-two-hour nonstop flights to a world-renowned destination with casino resorts, unique dining, and outdoor adventure.
The nonstop flight avoids the need for lengthy connections at congested hubs or long drives, allowing tourists to spend more time on adventure and less time commuting, allowing for quick, impromptu trips.

Travelers can take advantage of low-cost introductory fares
It is starting in all areas with an introductory, limited-time launch cost of $49 each way*. aha! will provide value-priced holiday packages shortly, allowing visitors to save money on short two to five-night vacation breaks.
Aha! intends to grow its services to over 20 markets in total, concentrating on smaller regional markets. The additional routes will benefit smaller cities, which have seen flights curtailed or eliminated as airlines shift resources to more lucrative, higher-traffic regions due to COVID-19’s travel implications.
Aha! Markets that were an hour or two away by air and did not have nonstop service to Reno were deliberately chosen. The business model enables the airline to compete for shorter, more spontaneous holidays, such as drive-in vacations.
ExpressJet’s Aha! business unit leader, Tim Sieber, highlighted Reno-offers Tahoe as a vacation destination, particularly its variety of events and outdoor and recreational activities, as a significant factor for the company’s choice to locate its operations in the area.
According to Seiber, the region’s casino resorts, in addition to prominent attractions such as Lake Tahoe, fit nicely with the leisure brand’s focus on “air, lodging, and adventure.” Aha! also hopes to increase passenger traffic by utilizing the Reno-Tahoe region’s many events, such as Burning Man, Hot August Nights, Reno Air Races, and Lake Tahoe Snowfest.
