Donald Trump Slams Prosecutors’ ‘Misconduct’ in Kyle Rittenhouse Trial After Meeting With Teen in Mar-a-lago

On Tuesday, the former President Donald Trump remarked over the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse on “Hannity” after having a meeting with him in Mar-A-Lago.

Rittenhouse was subjected to “prosecutorial misconduct,” the former president said.

Rittenhouse Would Have Been Dead- Trump

Trump said that “[Rittenhouse] should not have had to suffer through a trial for that. He was going to be dead if he didn’t pull that trigger that guy that put the gun to his head in one-quarter of a second he was going to pull the trigger. Kyle would have been dead.”

During the protest and riots in Kenosha last year in August 2020, the young teen had shot and killed 36 years old Joseph Rosenbaum and 26 years old Anthony Huber, he also shot the third person named Gaige Grosskreutz but the victim managed to survive and gave testimony during his trial.

The tragic event took place after police shot a black man named Jacob Blake and due to that he has been left paralyzed from the waist down.

Trump said “He’s a really good young guy … just left Mar-a-Lago a little while ago, and he should never have been put through that. That was prosecutorial misconduct, and it’s happening all over the United States right now with the Democrats.”

The judge reprimanded the prosecution on several stances, which also includes the raising of fact that Rittenhouse opted to keep silence after he was accused.

The Fifth Amendment defends those charged with crimes from slamming themselves, they don’t need to disclose any details to prosecution, police, or even a judge.

After 3 and a half days of discussions, the jury came up with the verdict of “not guilty” for every accusation he was charged with.

In an interview on Monday with Fox News’s host Tucker Carlson, teen stated that “I was an innocent 17-year-old who was violently attacked and defended myself,” adding “I feel my life has been extremely defamed … I don’t think I would be able to go out and get a job and not have to deal with harassment.

But I’m at a place now … where I have to have people with me because people want to kill me just because I defended myself – and they’re too ignorant to look at the facts of what happened … I see some of the threats. Some of the things people say it’s absolutely sickening.”

The reports by media over the trial has shown under fire in order to get truth twisted along with misinformation that Rittenhouse came up with the rifle over state lines. Some of them, however, have rectified their reporting.

Trump Called Media as the Enemy of the People Over Reporting of False News

Donald Trump criticized the media and stated that they are the “enemy of the people.” He even referenced their coverage of the controversial Steele dossier as one of the multiple examples of “fake news.”

Trump said “They are the enemy of the people and we could have a country that would be able to heal and get together, except the media foments it. They’re so corrupt.

The fake news [media], but it’s really the corrupt news. It’s corrupt what they do,” adding “I had to devote a lot of time to fake investigations.”  Further, he added that “People have gotten wise to it … and it’s just a shame.”

Former president also censured the violence in Waukesha city of Wisconsin, by a “bad cookie.”

On Tuesday evening, police stated that six victims have succumbed to death whereas 62 were injured in the Sunday afternoon tragedy after a red SUV rushed in full speed into the Christmas parade. Police have taken into custody Darrell Brooks as suspect with several counts of deliberate murder.

Trump stated “He was out on bail and he was a rough cookie,” adding further “This guy was crazy and a real professional criminal and a bad guy. And the good news is he hated Trump, OK? He hated Trump – based on early reporting – and he should.”

According to police documents, days before the tragic incident occurred, Brooks had reportedly smacked a woman in the face and drove over her using his vehicle.

The report mentioned that the woman had tire marks on her pants. Brooks was accused in this event and later posted $1,000 bail.

Trump said “He should not have been out. He should have never,” adding “Can you imagine? I looked at that car going in … I’ve never seen anything like it… All because of a bad guy. And he was out on bail, very low bail. Just a terrible, terrible situation. I mean, just terrible.”
