Former US President Trump was “very appreciative” as well as “surprised” when President Biden praised his decision regarding Covid-19 vaccines.
Biden congratulated the entire administration of Donald Trump for making such a prompt decision during the time of crisis.
Biden Thanked Trump Government
Biden’s comments on the successful efforts of the Trump administration during the pandemic even shocked Donald Trump. The US President further said to Fox News that it was completely the “tone” and “trust” that played a vital role.
As cases are again rising due to the omicron variant, the Biden government had decided to increase the testing capacity. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 73% of the latest infections are due to the Omicron variant.
On Tuesday afternoon, Biden also declared that the supply and the availability of the vaccines will also be expanded.
Biden was heard saying, “Thanks to the prior administration and our scientific community, America is one of the first countries to get the vaccine,” Biden also proceeded to state.
“Thanks to my administration, the hard work of Americans, we let, our roll-out, made America among the world leaders in getting shots in arms.”
Later that day, Trump was interviewed exclusively by Fox News. Trump’s reaction to Biden’s remarks came as a shock to many, “I’m very appreciative of that — I was surprised to hear it,” Trump also said. “I think it was a terrific thing, and I think it makes a lot of people happy.”

Trump’s Vaccination Plan
Covid-19 has taken the lives of millions of people around the globe. Due to the emergency of the situation, the Trump government launched Operation Warp Speed.
The motive behind this public-private partnership is to make vaccines at a higher speed for saving the citizens worldwide.
As the pandemic was quickly spreading, the Food and Drug Administration has approved emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the vaccines under Trump’s administration. Covid-19 vaccines like Pfizer/BioTech and even Moderna were soon cleared for public usage.
Once the vaccines gained approval, Trump agreed to sign an executive order for ensuring vaccinations of the Americans. As per the order, the U.S. government will provide vaccination to all Americans before sending the vaccines to other nations.

Trump even went on record to say, “This is a great thing that we all did,” he went on to appreciate the cumulative effort of the entire team for creating the Covid-19 vaccine. “I may have been the vehicle, but we all did this together.”
Trump also got infected with Covid-19 back in October 2020 and was even hospitalized for the same.
At the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, Trump restricted travel from China and then went to impose travel limits on Europe. Donald Trump being the President during that period was heavily criticized for such a sudden decision.
It seems like Biden also did the same by inflicting travel limits from certain African countries. However, the Biden government wasn’t subjected to such harsh criticism.
It is reported that omicron was first detected in certain parts of South Africa and so, such decisions had been taken.
Trump also commented on the criticism that his government received initially, “And ultimately, they said we did the right thing.”
Now that everything is slowly starting to get normal, a new variant, omicron has emerged. But it isn’t as deadly as the other variants.
Though it is a matter of concern, all precautions have been taken to keep everything under control; The Biden government is all prepared and hoping to fight back stronger than ever.
