Who Are the Main Characters in Ray Donovan: The Movie?

The film is an extension of the series. It will bring back all the main characters, who played an essential role in the story. Let’s take a look at Ray Donovan’s most important characters:

The Movie: Liev Schreiber plays Raymond “Ray” Donovan. Ray is a professional “fixer,” who does all the dirty work (bribes, wages, cleaning, etc.) to his rich and famous clients.

He loves and cares for his family and feels a strong sense of responsibility towards his children and siblings, but he shares a complicated relationship with his wife and father that often gets Ray into trouble.

The film further explores his equation with his father, who seems to be the source of all the family’s problems, especially Ray. Jon Voight plays Mickey Donovan, the neglectful and abusive father of Ray and his four brothers: Bunchie, Terry, Bridget, and Daryll.

Mickey was once a mobster and is now an ex-con, having served 20 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. After his release from prison, Mickey Mouse arrives in Los Angeles to collect his debts and upsets the lives of Ray and his brothers.

In the film, Mickey disappears, and Ray is determined to track him down before Mickey gets in trouble. Eddie Marsan plays Terrence “Terry” Donovan, Ray’s older brother and former boxer.

Terry suffers from Parkinson’s disease, which has left him desperate and socially embarrassed. Pooch Hall appears as Daryll Donovan, Ray’s younger half-brother. Daryll is also a professional boxer trained by Terry.
