The latest comedy Murderville is set to release in February and is a classic mystery series with a twist.

The series is inspired by the BAFTA-winning BBC3 series Murder in Successville. Krister Johnson is there as the showrunner and the series will have a total of 6 episodes.

Actor Will Arnett’s Sony-based Electric Ave. has obtained the rights to the BBC3 series and then he developed his version, which is picked up by Netflix.

He has teamed up with the streaming giant in the past with BoJack Horseman, Flaked, and the revival of Arrested Development.

Arnett will play the character of senior homicide detective Terry Seattle in the comedy series and also join as an executive producer alongside Marc Forman, Peter Principato, Jonathan Stern, Brian Steinberg.

The comedy-mystery will be rolled out on Thursday, February 3, at 12:01 a.m PT and 3:01 a.m ET on Netflix.

Apart from Arnett, other cast members who will join the series include Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Annie Murphy, Marshawn Lynch, Sharon Stone, and many others as well.

There will be some other casts also that include Haneefah Wood who will portray the role of Chief Rhonda Jenkins-Seattle, Lilan Bowden will play the character of medical examiner Amber Kang, and Phillip Smithey will play the role of Det. Darren “Daz” Phillips.

Murderville Plot

The cast will team up with Arnett’s Terry Seattle since he attempts to resolve murder cases on Murderville. The twist is that the celebrity must cobble together their character since they get no script for the episode.

Arnett and the other regular’s characters are scripted, creating a hilarious series that you will not be able to think about what happens next.
