Fans are ready as the new edition of the Tom Clancy game Rainbow Six Extraction is about to release. The game will now go all scary as the players would take on sci-fi monsters with a wide range of new and high-end technology weapons.
Mode of the Game
The Rainbow Six extraction takes the very widely known Outbreak version of the Six Siege, which was named after the outbreak of CoronaVirus, and turned it into a whole standalone game.
The developers have taken a big leap as well as a big risk of moving from the traditional soldiers versus terrorist basis of the Rainbow Six franchise. The mode of the game revolves around an alien-infested infection that has been unleashed on the globe.
Set in a time in the future, the game will be a three-player co-op shooter in which the team would have to drop into quarantine zones to combat this mutating threat.
The game emphasizes teamwork as the team fights aliens instead of each other. The weapons and gadgets are somewhat comparable to those in the previous games but with a high-end horror twist.
Ubisoft’s Description of the Game
The Rainbow Six Extraction, Ubisoft’s next co-op shooter, was initially called Rainbow Six Quarantine before the real-life events of the pandemic caused by Covid 19 prompted the developers to rename the game.
Ubisoft made it quite clear while describing the game for the first time that one does not have to be a Siege fan to enjoy this new game.
As the weapons and gadgets are very much similar to Siege, the game is an excellent method for new players to gain a feel for some of the fundamentals of Siege.
Trailer and Release Date
The trailer of Rainbow Six Extraction was released which showed different modes of the game. The trailer also shows that the multiplayer will be playing the game in a sort of different arrays, like one that was shown in the trailer, was a Rook.
The trailer also shows the operators Ela and Vigil who are considered core elements of Rainbow Six Siege, along with some of the monsters and high-end gadgets. Another recent trailer focused on the Maelstrom challenge mode.
The game will be released on January 20, 2022. Although the game was initially set to release in 2020 as the world was taken aback by Corona, so was the release of the game. The development of the game faced issues and quarantine made it difficult.
Then the release was delayed again from the 16th of September last year. However, much of the details are now released and we do not think that the game will be delayed any further.
Rainbow Six Extraction Will Be Available on Which Consoles and Platforms?
The Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC as well. The game will also be available on the new generation of consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The thing that puts the game one step ahead is that the cross-play mode allows the players to play against individuals regardless of the system they use to play the game on.
The game will be a day one launch on the Xbox Game pass Service for both consoles and PCs. Regardless of how you choose to participate in the Game pass, you will be able to play the game as soon as it is released.
