Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Plot

Initially, it was slated to be released in February 2022 but later, it was delayed. CBS along with Paramount+ has confirmed that there will be some sort of overlap.

To be specific, since the release of Picard Season 2 from March 3rd to March 17th, audiences will see two different episodes from different Star Trek series releasing on the same day.

Picard’s latest season’s trailer portrays a time travel plot. Jean-Luc along with the La Sirena crew decides on traveling back to the 21st century Earth to prevent the occurrence of a nightmarish future.

Since Terry Matalas is the showrunner in Season 2, we can expect similar paradoxes in the latest season. Picard Season 2 was delayed by 2 years. But Season 3 didn’t keep us waiting for long because it was filmed simultaneously.

Star Trek: Strange New World Season 1 Plot

As this is a new show, we will see a newer format. Co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman, as well as Henry Alonso Myers, will be making episodic releases. It will follow the classic format and so, audiences will see standalone adventures.

This is not only a spin-off of Discovery and even a prequel to the popular The Original Series. It will depict the late 2250s.

We can see the epic adventures undertaken by Captain Pike (Anson Mount) as seen on the USS Enterprise. Spock (Ethan Peck) and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) of Discovery Season 2 will tag along with him.

The best thing is that audiences can witness the class ‘60s Trek characters in a new avatar. Dr. M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun), Nyota Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding), and Nurse Chapel (Jess Bush) are ready to take you on an adventure.

New cast members who will join the crew are Christina Chong as La’an Noonein-Singh, Bruce Horak as Hemmer, and Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3

Mike McMahan’s animated comedy is going to be available on Paramount+ but nothing else has been shared with the media. Season 2 showed how Captain Freeman (Dawnn Lewis) was framed for trying to blow up the planet.

But she is not involved in this crime. Season 3 will probably pick up from where it ended in season 2.

So, which of these above-mentioned series are you excited to watch?
