Apple TV+ already offers a solid slate of exciting entertainment. Calls, Truth Be Told, Servant, and other superb thriller series are available on the streaming site.
Another fascinating suspense series will premiere on the network in February. Suspicion is a television series based on the award-winning Israeli thriller False Flag.
Apple TV+ has debuted the trailer for the highly anticipated thriller series, which will air worldwide on Friday, February 4, 2022.
The trailer has certainly increased the sense of anticipation. Suspicion appears to be an intriguing thriller based on its premise. As the premiere date approaches, here’s a rundown of everything we know thus far about the show.
What Do We Know About Suspicion?
Suspicion is executive produced by Chris Long, Howard Burch for Keshet Productions, Avi Nir for Keshet Media Group, and Anna Winger, with Darin McLeod producing. Long is also set as the director.
Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman created the original series, which ran for two seasons from 2015 to 2019. It told the story of five regular Israeli residents who were thrust into the spotlight after being named primary suspects in a high-profile kidnapping.
Their attempts at denial are futile as news programs continuously broadcast their names and images, engulfing them in a whirlpool of publicity.
The Release Date for Suspicion
On February 4, 2022, the thriller drama ‘Suspicion’ will launch exclusively on Apple TV+. The first two episodes will be featured in the spectacular debut, followed by one new episode every Friday.
The first season has cumulatively eight episodes. On March 25, 2022, the season finale will air.
The Cast of Suspicion?
There are several notable stars in the cast. The series stars Uma Thurman (Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction) as Katherine Newman, who has been nominated for an Academy Award.
Katherine Newman, played by Uma Thurman, is a high-flying businesswoman whose son is kidnapped. Uma became Hollywood royalty when she starred as Mia Wallace in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction in 1994.
She played Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin and acted in Gattaca as Irene. Uma performed Fantine in the Les Misérables version in 1998 and Dr. Emma Peel in The Avengers.
Her most prominent role is as The Bride in the Kill Bill films, but she’s also a TV star, having appeared in shows including The Slap, Imposters, and the upcoming Chambers.
Elizabeth Henstridge, who starred in the long-running series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the film Wolves at the Door, co-stars alongside Uma Thurman in Suspicion.
Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) and Noah Emmerich (The Americans, Billions, The Truman Show) also star. Sean Tilson is played by Elyes Gabel (Scorpion), and It’s a Sin actress Jennifer Garner (It’s a Sin).
Lydia West (White Lines), Tom Rhys-Harries (Murdered by My Boyfriend), and Angel Coulby (Dancing on the Edge, Merlin) also star.
Katherine Newman, a businesswoman, is frightened when her son is abducted from a New York hotel in Suspicion (seemingly by criminals wearing the masks of the British Queen and Prince Charles, see below). As the National Crime Agency and the
F.B.I. conducts their investigations; Suspicion rapidly falls on four seemingly regular British individuals who were resting at the hotel on the night in question.
The group suddenly finds itself in a high-stakes, trans-Atlantic cat-and-mouse game as they try to elude the authorities and prove their innocence.
However, not all of them can be trusted, and while some were just in the imprecise location at the wrong time, someone among them knows the truth about the bizarre abduction.
Has the Trailer Been Released?
Suspicion’s debut trailer has been launched on Apple TV. Plus. In it, a group of British citizens comes together to figure out how they became suspects in a kidnapping.
At the same time, Katherine Newman tries to strike a balance between her uncompromising businesswoman attitude and that of a worried mother. Is everyone who they claim to be who they say they are?
