Destiny 2 the Witch Queen Raid: Expected Release Date & Updates!

All the New Updates We Have About Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is a game that’s all about the loot, and as in similar titles, it means for any firearm and armor that you find and want to keep, there are dozens of others that you do not want.

Bungie wrote that this should help players avoid having to abandon list activities to return to the tower to empty their inventory, where gear players cannot keep inventories of their characters full, as it gets automatically deleted.

Blue drops will continue to be part of the game, but they will come from enemies you kill in the active world. But list activities should thankfully lack blue rewards that drop from end-of-mission chests or emerge from a completed match.

What’s Different in Destiny 2?

Blue drops are still a staple of leveling in Destiny 2, but the problem is that once players hit the soft cap power level, only “Powerful” Legendary gear can level up. Blue drops become useless, and players always eliminate them immediately.

So this change will eliminate the number of blue weapons, and the reinforcement players will have to eliminate them immediately. Along with the change of blue drops, Bungie is also removing Gunsmith materials, telemetry data, and mod components, three inventory elements that are not much.

Starting with The Witch Queen, the Arms Dealer changes to give it a “reputation” system similar to the Vanguard Vendor, Crucible Vendor, and Gambit Vendor.

Disassembling guns and doing other things in the game will earn you Gunsmith’s reputation, and once you earn enough points to improve your reputation with Banshee, you’ll earn a reward like with other vendors of the game.

Banshee will always be very useful, selling random weapons that give players the chance to get particular weapon stats and mods. Finally, some other sales rights are transferred to the Tower.

The Witch Queen witnesses the removal of the Tangled Shore location that first entered the game with the Forsaken expansion and the vendor of that location.

The Spider was useful to players because it offered materials exchange, where currencies obtained from certain planets and assets can be exchanged for other things, such as upgrade materials.

These tasks have been transferred to Rahool, the Tower Cryptarch vendor. For now, at least, the exchange rates will be comparable to what players have seen since the Spider, but that may change in the future.

Release Date and Time

Bungie reveals when Destiny 2: The Witch Queen’s Raid will be released, giving players a head start to fully prepare. Of all the expansions  Bungie has revealed so far, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is almost the greatest of all time.

While there’s always a marketing push leading up to a new expansion, Bungie has seemingly doubled down on engaging players this time around. Much of this extraction is new content coming into the expansion.

For those looking to play all it has to offer, that’s when Destiny 2: The Witch Queen’s Raid was released. On Bungie.net, the research revealed details about when players will be able to dive into the Raid.

Although the name of the Raid has not yet been announced, likely to avoid possible spoilers on The Witch Queen’s story, Bungie has revealed that Destiny 2: The Witch Queen’s Raid will be available in March 5, 2022, at 10 a.m. PST.

This will give Destiny 2 players a few weeks to prepare for the game’s final content. Bungie hasn’t revealed much beyond The Witch Queen’s Raid’s availability date and time, though it has promised that more information would become available.

Bungie also encouraged those trying to earn the “World First” title to postpone their applications now, which is the only way serious gamers can stay competitive.

On the other hand, Bungie also encouraged students to focus on their studies instead of skipping school to play.

Since the first game was released, raids have been a major pillar of Destiny 2. Starting with Vault of Glass, raids have helped close loose narrative threads, provide interesting challenges, and help players earn loot.

The raid is just a small fraction of the most significant changes coming to Destiny 2 alongside The Witch Queen.

Yu-gi-oh Master Duel: Is There Any Potential Release Date & Rumors?

Why Was the Release Delayed?

Although the release was scheduled for last year, it was delayed to February 2022 to give Bungie more time to clean up its nooks and crannies.

In return for the extended wait time, which was made easier by Bungie’s anniversary, Bungie promises some of the best Destiny 2 content it’s seen to date.

Luckily, February 22 is right around the corner, and fans will soon be able to get their hands on The Witch Queen.

Once that happens, players can start preparing for whatever The Witch Queen’s Raid throws at them. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will be released on February 22, 2022, on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
