It might have come as a huge surprise for the fans of Evil Dead who have already waited many days for the latest installment of Evil Dead: The Game. The developers of Evil Dead have agreed jointly to push the release until May of 2022 and they agree the delay will give them the time required to make the game a “best possible experience” for the fans.

“This delay gives our team the time they need to get things just right, so your boomstick will be polished, fully loaded, and ready to blast Deadites on that Friday the 13th of May”, another tweet from the Game’s official account. They even wrote, “We thank you for your patience and understanding”.

Lastly, they promised the fans that they will not have to wait “too long” for the latest installment of Evil Dead: The Game.

Good news for the fans as Saber Interactive, the developers of the game promised a brand-new trailer to be released in February. Along with the trailer, they will also reveal more information on how fans will be able to pre-order the game.

It has been a long time since Evil Dead: The Game was announced to the world at The Game Awards 2020. This new game will not only have the return of Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams but will also feature co-op and PvP gameplay for the fans.

Bruce Campbell expressed his excitement of the new game by saying “I’m excited to be strapping on the chainsaw one more time”. He also added, “Boss Team and Saber interactive are planning a huge immersive dealio, and I knew I had to come back. You’ll be able to step into my shoes and kick some Deadite ass!”

Evil Dead: The Game was delayed previously as well when it was decided the game will be released by February. The reason for the delay was for the final touches Saber Interactive has been working on. In addition to enhancing the experience, the developers took time to add a single-player option as well to the game.

Now gamers who like to play alone and not team up with random players can have an immersive experience through the Single Player option. 

Finally, the game has been delayed from February to May of 2022 and the developers are focusing on fine-tuning the game even more. Gamers and fans of Evil Dead can expect an extremely polished gaming experience from Evil Dead: The Game.
