The series will be filled with excitement as 300 boys along with one man starts on the journey to create history with the ultimate striker to play for the national team of Japan. If you enjoy breath-taking actions and visuals, Blue Lock will not disappoint one bit.
It starts with the Japanese soccer team losing in the quarter-finals of the 2018 world cup. Steps in the enigmatic character of Ego Jinpachi with the responsibility to take care of the national soccer team and prepare for the next world cup.
Jinpachi is hired by the union and his plan is to train 300 strikers in the Blue Lock facility until he can create the best striker ever. There’s a catch that makes it even more interesting. Only one of these 300 players will play for the national team and the rest 299 will never get a chance again to be a part of Japan’s national football team.
After a long-lasting training session in the Blue Lock facility, Yoichi Isagi is the name that comes forward to take the place. Isagi is a soccer player who very recently lost a qualifying game in the National High School Football Qualifiers. The story shows how his selfless act of passing the ball instead of taking the shot himself led to the defeat of his team.
In addition to Yoichi Isagi, notable characters in the team are Hyoma Chigiri, Meguru Bachira, and Rensuke Kunigami. Each of these players has its own strength in its respective positions.
Rumors suggest the Blue Lock series will have a total of 24 episodes and one can book and watch on the official website of Crunchyroll and Netflix. Soma Saito, Kazuki Ura, Yuki Ono, and Tasuku Kaito are among the voice performers of the Blue Lock anime.
