Congress Is Looking Into Claims That the NIH Is Funding Cruel Experiments That Involve Injecting Puppies With Cocaine

National Institutes of Health (NIH), an agency of the United States government that conducts and supports biomedical research into the causes, cures, and prevention of disease.

The NIH is an agency of the Public Health Service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It is the largest single supporter of biomedical research in the country and also provides training for health researchers and disseminates medical information.

The NIH comprises 25 specialized institutes that conduct or support research in various areas of health and disease, including the National Cancer Institute, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institute of General Medical Sciences, National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke, National Eye Institute, National Institute of Aging, and National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.

In addition to its various institutes, the NIH maintains the National Library of Medicine, which is the primary source of medical information in the United States.

The NIH also operates several general research centers and the Division of Research and Information Technology, which uses information technology to support health research programs nationwide.

The Drug Abuse

On Friday, February 4, 2022, a bipartisan letter from Congress was sent to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, requesting responses on this study and similar studies in animals. Beagles have long been used in experiments due to their docile nature.

A new investigation by watchdog group White Coat Waste Project has found that the National Institute of Health spent more than $2 million in taxpayer dollars to forcibly inject cocaine and other experimental drugs into these kind and innocent creatures.

The puppies were fitted with a vest that would dose them with cocaine at different intervals over several months. They were then monitored by video “so experimenters could see if the puppies had any ‘adverse reactions”, given another “experimental compound”, and underwent surgery to implant a device, which would monitor their vital signs.

After the experiment was completed, the dogs were then killed or ejected to be used in further experiments. This experiment was done twice at different times, with 6 and then 7 beagle puppies respectively, although the FDA claimed: “that it doesn’t require drugs to be tested on dogs.”

Cruelty Is Shown Towards Animals

The organization that commissioned these cruel experiments was SRI International, which recently made headlines because Dr. Anthony Fauci’s division at the NIH paid them to poison and cut the vocal cords of 68-month-old puppies.

interest in having their vocal cords cut was such that the researchers should not have heard them scream. However, because SRI International did not have the appropriate equipment available, they outsourced the work to Charles River Laboratories, another organization with a less than stellar reputation involving the exploitation of apes.

Devin Murphy, WCWP’s policy and public communications manager, released a statement in response to the horrific findings “#BeagleGate just got bigger.

Millions of SSI Claimants Are Unable to Apply Online For Their $841 Checks. Here’s WHY?

Taxpayers should not be forced to foot the multi-million-dollar bill for wasteful and cruel ‘Coke Hound’ experiments in which beagle puppies are injected with cocaine to fulfill just to fulfill burdensome and outdated FDA red tape.

The NIH is addicted to spending and it’s time we got this waste and abuse off of the taxpayer’s back.” The futile and inhumane nature of animal testing must end. Not only does it cause serious harm to animals, but it can also harm humans.
