Hayden Christensen Filmed Scenes as Both Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker for the Obi-wan Kenobi Series, According to Ewan Mcgregor

The leading man of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Ewan McGregor, has made the confirmation that Hayden Christensen filmed scenes for the forthcoming series as both Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker.

Recently, Ewan McGregor was involved in a conversation with Forbes about the forthcoming series, but as you would believe, the topic of Star Wars raised its head and McGregor ended up opening up a little regarding the forthcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and let it spills that Hayden Christensen filmed scenes as Anakin Skywalker and not only as Darth Vader.

Kingdom Season 4: Release Date, Plot, Trailer, And Latest Updates

McGregor said that “I think it’s no secret that Hayden Christensen comes back and we got to play scenes together again as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and it was just fantastic to work with him again. I’m not going to give away anything else about the storyline, only I think it’s going to satisfy Star Wars fans.”

Even if McGregor expects it’s not confidential that he filmed scenes with Hayden as Anakin Skywalker, it has barely ever been spilled by Lucasfilm that Hayden would appear only as Darth Vader.

It looks like a no brainer that we would come to see flashbacks of Anakin and Obi-Wan, and that is something that fans have been wishing for since Christensen was said to be coming back to portray the character of Darth Vader, but it’s good to have confirmation about it from Ewan himself.

From what I have come to know about the forthcoming series, fans should be very thrilled and eager for Obi-Wan Kenobi, and yesterday I shared a little of what I am aware of by exclusively reporting that Rupert Friend would appear in the series since the fan-favorite Star Wars: Rebels character the Grand Inquisitor, together with some other small details.

Afterward, MakingStarWars added to my story and confirmed that they were aware of scenes having Moses Ingram’s Inquisitor cutting hands off of Tatooine locals which absurdly surprised the Grand Inquisitor, which I also have heard.

Is There an Official Release Date Announced?

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is supposed to release sometime in May 2022, although Lucasfilm and Disney have not made any official announcement yet about the release date.
