Ufotable Officially Confirmed the Demon Slayer Season 3 along with a New PV

Since Season 2 of “Demon Slayer” which included both Entertainment District as well as Mugen Train Arc has finally concluded along with 11 episodes,  Animation lovers are now wondering if “Demon Slayer” will be having a season 3 or whether Ufotable has, by now, released any information about an upcoming season.  So, here we are with some amazing news for anime lovers.

Demon Slayer Season 3 has been Officially Confirmed by Ufotable with a New PV. It has also been recently announced that the Swordsmith Village Arc will be adapted for Season 3 of the show. Last year, the Season 2 of Demon Slayer made its way on television, and it began with a remake of the Mugen Train Arc.

Viewers of anime who saw the film had to sit tight for seven weeks for the Entertainment District Arc. The fans of anime believed that Ufotable will be unable to match the same quality in the following arc after witnessing the Mugen train’s brilliance.

Hence, Ufotable Inc, a Japanese animation studio which was founded in October 2000 by the staff of TMS Entertainment which is a subsidiary of Telecom Animation Film, situated in Tokyo, on the other hand, has proved everyone wrong and is being appreciated for all the steps they have taken for the release of another season.

Beelzebub Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Trailer, And Plot

Some notable works of Ufotable include Ninja Nonsense, Futakoi Alternative, Coyote Ragtime Show, Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!, Tales of Symphonia, The Garden of Sinners, Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Since the second season has just come to an end, we must have to say that every episode of Entertainment District Arc was a true masterpiece especially the penultimate and the finale episode.

It was indeed a treat to watch that after finally protecting themselves from Gyuutarou and Daki’s violent attack, the Demon Slayers use their Nichirin Swords to cut-open the necks of brother-sister and achieve their goal.

When Inosuke and Tengen Uzui are about to take their last breaths, Nezuko comes to their support and uses the Blood Demon Art to clean up their bodies which were covered with poison. The brother-sister team then tries to help the Sound Hashira in the same way, providing much-needed comfort to Tengen as well as his three wives.

After ensuring that his colleagues, Inosuke and Tengen are safe and out of danger, Tanjirou along with Nezuko begin searching for Gyuutarou and Daki to see if the monsters are still alive. However, with this final episode, all the fans had to bid farewell to season 2 of the series, and now it’s completely normal for them to anticipate season 3 of Demon Slayer.

Demon Slayer Season 3 along with a New Pv

Demon Slayer Season 3 Has Been Officially Confirmed on Feb 13th, 2022

Anime fans all over the world are now anticipating what the future holds as the official Japanese website, Ufotable, confirms that the Swordsmith Village Arc will be developed for television this time. Surprisingly, the announcement includes a new PV and a teaser visual.

While the announcement for season 3 is embraced by anime lovers and some fans are very excited, it is unlikely that many fans were surprised by the news.

Renewals of animated films or animated shows are generally determined by 3 elements:-

  1. the availability of source material from a manga or light novel
  2. the worldwide popularity of that manga or light novel
  3. the potential to create revenue in Japan or the Asian region through merch

Entertainment District Arc’s Episode 11 concluded by adapting up to chapter 97 of the classic manga series, which is the last chapter of volume 11.

The Matrix 5′ Finally Has a Release Date

Luckily, there is more than enough source material left from the great manga series to adapt for another season of demon slayer, along with a sum of 205 chapters and 23 volumes which were published in Japan. However, It completely depends on Ufotable as to how will they be dividing the remaining arcs of the story.
