R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect to Big Screens on April 1, 2022
On Monday morning, R. Madhavan’s long-awaited directorial debut, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect,’ was given a release date. The movie will be released in theatres on April 1, 2022. Best known for his works in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films, Ranganathan Madhavan is an Indian film actor, author, director, and producer.
Madhavan has received four South Filmfare Awards and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He has been recognized among a few Indian actors who have achieved pan-Indian appeal. He is among the very few actors who have done films in seven different languages.
Mani Ratnam’s superhit romantic film Alaipayuthey helped Madhavan to gain recognition in Tollywood. He has appeared in several successful Bollywood films, including Tanu Weds Manu, 3 Idiots, and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. His performance as a boxing coach in Irudhi Suttru earned him Best Actor awards from Filmfare, IIFA, and SIIMA.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is an upcoming Indian biographical movie based on the true story of Nambi Narayanan. Nambi Narayanan was a former Indian Space Research Organization scientist and aerospace engineer suspected of espionage (also known as spying or intelligence gathering, which is an act of obtaining secret information from unauthorized sources or disclosing the same without the approval of the information holder for a monetary gain).
The story follows Nambi Narayanan from his days as a college student at Princeton University to his work as a scientist at ISRO and the false espionage charges leveled against him. The pre-production of the movie began in early 2017 and is set for a global release on April 1, 2022.
The film is written, produced, and directed by R Madhavan. The actor-turned-director, R Madhavan, will also be seen playing the main character of Nambi Narayanan. The film has been shot in multiple languages at the same time, including Hindi, Tamil, and English, and will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
