Attack on Titan Season 4 Finale Episode Release Date Delayed By 1 Week

The last episode of the fourth season of Attack on Titan has been postponed by a week, along with the side of a slight rescheduling for episode 84‘s premiering. The second half of season 4 of the anime, which will be the last of the series, started to premiere last month. The series that first premiered back in 2013 is based on Hajime Isayama’s dark fantasy manga series.

Ever since the fourth season, episode 76, “Judgement,” started on January 9, fans have been taken on a non-stop journey full of disclosures, surprises, and twists.

With the battle between Paradis and Marley for the authority of the Founding Titan getting the story back to where the series had started in Shiganshina, Eren (played by Yuki Kaji) at the end get to know the real origin of the Titans whilst revealing incredible powers that redesign the full series.

Eren does the unexpected in his mission to defeat his enemies, picking up a new form whilst directing the Wall Titans to finish off the maximum of humanity, with the scenes that were distressing for cast members and fans as well. Although, fans will now be disheartened to know that the series will experience a brief complication.

As explained by the Twitter handle Attack On Fans, the Japanese website of the series has reported the forthcoming changes in schedule. The website mentioned that episode 84, which was slated to premiere on March 6, would premiere at 00:15, Japan standard time, 15 minutes later than the regular one.

It was also declared that the last episode of Attack on Titan season 4, episode 87, will be postponed by one week. The series finale will now premiere on April 3 rather than March 27.

Attack On Fans then assumed that as the last episode was recouped by a special program that is untitled yet, there may be a confirmation regarding the show, highlighting the series’ presence at the AnimeJapan 2022 convention on the same day. With a lot of the series’ secrets yet to be unraveled, the second half of Attack on Titan season 4, focuses on getting the long-running anime series to a conclusion. The series started to air in April 2013 under the helm of Death Note director Tetsurō Araki and was animated by studio WIT.

The studio managed the initial three seasons of the series, and also the 3 compilation movies and 8 OVA stories. With the 4th and final current season, animation works were laid on studio MAPPA, with several members of the team being changed for new crew members when the show came back in March 2021.

The series is licensed by Funimation in the west, with the distributor all prepared to form a new English simuldub that started on February 13.

Show’s Presence at Anime Japan 2022 May Also Have an Announcement About the Show’s Future

Whilst the postponements may dishearten several show’s fans, others may be excited to know the reasons that contributed to the decision. As mentioned by Attack On Fans, with the show’s presence at AnimeJapan 2022, maybe there may be a declaration about the anime series’ future. Regardless of what the answer may be, Attack on Titan fans will have to wait a bit longer for the climax of Eren’s story.
