Apple’s M1 Mac Mini Is Now $149 Cheaper Than It Was Before the Company’s March 8th Presentation

Apple (AAPL) Is Preparing for Its First Major Product Announcement of the Year

The business said on Wednesday that on March 8, it will stage a virtual event called “Peak Performance.”

Apple is expected to show a variety of new MacBooks and iMacs, and a 5G version of its more cheap iPhone SE smartphone and an upgraded iPad Air, all of which will include Apple’s powerful in-house engine.

The press invitations arrive just one day after Apple (AAPL) stated it will stop selling all of its goods in Russia due to the war of Ukraine.

Apple will most likely emphasize the importance of its speculated M2 silicon processor if the event’s slogan is any clue. According to a recent Bloomberg rumor, Apple’s in-house processor will debut in a new 13-inch MacBook Pro, a Mac mini, a 24-inch Mac, and a newly revamped MacBook Air.

In November 2020, Apple released its first in-house M1 silicon chipset for its computer portfolio, breaking away from years of relying on Intel’s one-size-fits-all solution. It was touted by the business to be the world’s fastest CPU core and graphics card in a personal computer. Apple added the M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro lines a year later.

While Apple usually releases its flagship iPhone handsets in the fall, rumors suggest that it may issue a third iPhone SE after the first one was released in 2017 and again in 2020. The phone is believed to operate on Apple’s speedier A15 Bionic engine, have an improved camera, and possibly do away with the traditional notch at the top. The next-generation iPad Air is expected to have the same A15 CPU as the current model, as well as a 5G connection and a new camera.

Apple announced record sales for the crucial Christmas quarter in January, spurred in part by the interest for its latest iPhones. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, claimed at the time that supply chain delays during the holiday season have improved since then, implying that users will not have to wait as long to receive new devices this spring.

Apple announced a new iPad Pro, multicolored iMacs, a purple iPhone, and AirTags, a Tile-like Bluetooth tracker that attaches to and helps you find stuff like keys, wallets, laptops, or even your car, at its “Spring Loaded” presentation last year.

Is Apple’s M1 Mac Mini Now Less Expensive Than $149?

For quite some time, rumors about a new, greater Mac Mini have been circulating. And we’ll find out soon enough, thanks to Apple’s planned March 8th event. Meanwhile, Amazon has the latest M1 Mac Mini with 512GB of storage for $749.99.

At checkout, the decreased price (about $149 off the original price) is reflected. This model has 512GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, and it’s priced at an all-time low, which was last seen on Cyber Monday.

Although the M1 Mac Mini has been out of production since late 2020, it is still a great low-cost desktop PC that outperforms its price. Its excellent abilities are only slightly hampered by the fact that there are only two USB-C connections available.

There are two USB-A ports to help fill in the gaps, but you might want to consider investing in a USB-C hub to add a few more ports and SD card slots. It’s also worth noting that you’ll be responsible for providing your monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
