Nadia, Russian Doll’s Nadia, is going to go through it all over again. ya, Russian Doll Season 2 is coming soon.
Season 2 of Russian Doll will premiere on what appears to be a quasi-holiday for Nadia (Natasha Lyonne), the show’s protagonist. Additionally, the streaming service has received an entirely new look for the show, which focuses on Nadia’s routines.
April 20 is, of course, a date connected with marijuana users around the world, therefore fans of Nadia Lyonne’s time-bending program will be lighting up the second season on that day. This was announced by Netflix today (March 7) in a surreal video in which Nadia boards a New York City subway train and appears to be having a rough night.

There’s a clip that appears to depict Nadia, though, saying “when the universe fucks up with you… let it!” See it for yourself in the following trailer:
A new teaser for Season 2 has been released, and you can see it above. Among other fast-paced visuals, we watch Natasha Lyonne’s Nadia board a subway car, exit a grave, and fall into the air. She tells a buddy, “When the cosmos fucks with you, let it,” before downing a shot of hard liquor with her. At the very least, she’s optimistic.
Netflix said Russian Doll season 2 would “explore existential thematics via an often hilarious and sci-fi lens,” after discovering “a fate far horrible than perpetual death.”
Moreover, as if the sight of Nadia emerging from the graveyard’s soil wasn’t fascinating enough, there was this. Russian Doll season 2 will contain “an ever-expanding, era-spanning, multigenerational adventure,” according to Netflix’s press release.
The most difficult aspect, of course, will be getting off this wild train. We’re eager to see what Nadia will gain from this experience.
Four years later, Nadia and Alan have both escaped their Season 1-time loops and are reunited in Season 2. An unforeseen time portal in one of Manhattan’s most notorious sites brings Nadia and Alan deeper into their pasts, where they discover a destiny worse than unending death. In the first, this seems like an ever-expanding, era-spanning, intergenerational adventure, but they soon discover that it might be more than they bargained for and must work together to find a way out.
