The Divorce Between Brandon Blackstock And Kelly Clarkson Has Been Finalized
One-time payment of just over $1.3 million, as well as a monthly child support payment of $45,601 for River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5, began on February 1, according to court documents acquired by The Blast. The couple’s two children will receive $45,601 per month.
River and Remington will live in Clarkson’s Los Angeles home, but the pair has decided to share custody of their children. Representatives for Clarkson and Blackstock did not immediately reply to PEOPLE’s request for comment on the incident.
The agreement also stipulates that both children must be immunized against the COVID-19 virus before they leave the state to visit their father at the Montana ranch of the former marriage, where he would be temporarily residing.
But Blackstock, 45, will pay Clarkson $2,000 a month while he lives in their Montana residences until June. Clarkson will get both of their Montana properties. The American Idol winner will have to pay her ex-husband $115,000 in spousal support per month until the end of 2024 in addition to the one-time payment.
It is less than the $150,000 per month that Clarkson was ordered to pay Blackstock in July last year, in addition to the $45,601 per month for child support that Clarkson was ordered to pay Blackstock.

A flight simulator, various cars, and family pets are all included in the court documents. When it comes to vehicles, Blackstock will receive the ex-“farm couple’s animals… livestock… stock dogs… and horses,” along with a Ford F-350 or F-250, an ATV, and a number of CAT snowmobiles. In addition, he’ll get a golf simulator and a few Patek Philippe timepieces.

A source tells PEOPLE she’s “more than fine” after a Los Angeles County judge ordered her to pay Blackstock about $200,000 a month in spousal and child maintenance. At the time, a source told People, “She is doing fine and facing forward.” Her time with the kids is a huge part of her life, and she’s savoring every minute of it.
