As revealed in Amazon’s first trailer for The Boys season 3, here are the five most important revelations concerning Soldier Boy’s past. For The Boys, Soldier Boy is the most anxiously anticipated member of the 20

While Soldier Boy was a minor character in Garth Ennis’ original narrative, The Boys’ comic books depict him as a WWII Compound-V hero executed by Mallory for being grossly stupid and getting his entire squad killed by Nazi soldiers.
Currently, Vought has given the title of “Soldier Boy” to another hero, one who is scared of his own shadow and would go to any lengths to impress Homelander so that he can join the Seven.
Season 3 of The Boys won’t have a Soldier Boy like that. With Eric Kripke as the showrunner of The Boys, Jensen Ackles returns as Dean Winchester. Soldier Boy’s live-action costume has previously been shown off by The Boys’ marketing team, but other than a few sketchy interview comments from Kripke/Ackles, there are no solid character specifics available.
The season 3 trailer for Amazon’s The Boys has just been out, and it features a patriotic Soldier Boy. It’s impossible to hear the veteran’s thoughts, but it’s possible to piece together his life story from the footage alone.
To begin, a shaky video of Soldier Boy delivering a speech in public is shown in the trailer. Ackles’ rendition of Soldier Boy fought in World War II, but the clarity of this image suggests that he served in the 1960s.
We can assume that Soldier Boy would have been used in the Vietnam War and other battles in the decades following his debut against the Nazis, as evidenced by an old newspaper clipping regarding his Payback group’s popularity.
This is followed by two Soldier Boy action shots in the season 3 trailer: one being punched by an army officer and the other fighting goons with his shield. These sequences may appear to be placed in the present day because of Soldier Boy’s modernized uniform, but the dated style suggests that these scenes are memories of his past missions and glories.
Vought’s nature implies that you can’t rule out the possibility of similar events occurring on a Dawn of the Seven-style film set. The fact that Soldier Boy appears to be a cocky showman in flashbacks suggests that he is more concerned with his image than the mission’s success, and the supe has plainly offended the real soldiers he’s fighting alongside. Soldier Boy’s lack of military knowledge puts his men at risk of being killed by their own stupidity in the source material.
During the season 3 trailer for The Boys, a Soldier Boy obituary can be seen. This confirms Season 2’s hints that he died in the 1980s. Soldier Boy is awoken from hibernation in the last seconds of the trailer, which takes place in The Boys’ modern-day reality.

Despite or perhaps because of his public notoriety, he was an egotistical hero who was not well-liked by his colleagues and flashbacks will likely detail his past in The Boys season 3.
Soldier Boy was resurrected in the contemporary day, just like Steve Rogers, after Vought faked his death and locked him in a cryogenic chamber. This is likely a response to Homelander’s season 2 meltdown. Nobody knows where Soldier Boy will end up after The Boys.
