Nintendo has revealed that the first wave of new songs will be available via the Nintendo eShop this week, in addition to the over 50 planned additions.

The Mario Kart 8 DLC Release Date, and the Time of the Pass Launch
The Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been released on Friday, March 18, 2022. Note that while there will be 48 tracks accessible, they won’t be available all at once. Starting on March 18, the first wave of Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks will be released, followed by the remaining courses at a later date.
Mario Kart Tour’s Paris Promenade and Tokyo Blur courses, as well as old-school favorites like N64 Choco Mountain and Wii Coconut Mall, are among the available options. From March 18, 2022, to the end of 2023, there will be six waves of eight courses each. Nintendo has confirmed this present timeline, although it could alter at any time.
Although a specific date for the Booser Course Pass DLC’s arrival has yet to be announced, players may expect it on or before March 18. The regular hour is roughly 2 a.m. GMT, however, Nintendo may alter its schedule if necessary.
How Do I Get Access to the Mario Kart 8 DLC Courses?
Mario Kart 8’s new DLC may be accessed in two different ways.
You’ll get all the content as soon as it’s published if you have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Access to a selection of Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis titles with online play, access to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise DLC at no additional cost, and all the features of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription are included in this membership.
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass can also be purchased separately. There are six waves in all, and the pass will grant you access to all of them. You can’t buy individual waves.
