Ready to make a mark yet again in the gaming community, Rocksteady’s latest and probably the greatest yet Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is much awaited already. Previously, Rocksteady has impressed the fans of the caped crusader with games like Batman: Arkham Asylum. A universally acclaimed superhero game, the sequels Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight earned a good reputation too.
Already announced formally in 2020 at the DC Fan Dome event, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is definitely something the fans of Batman and DC as a whole would thoroughly enjoy. The reputation of Suicide Squad as a film has failed to impress the fans but with this game, we are going to see and connect more with the anti-hero group.
Rocksteady has already released trailers and gameplay footage. Now, by the looks of it, we are sure that this is going to be a milestone in the gaming world, potentially outmatching the impact of the Batman: Arkham series.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Release Date
The game has been in the development stage for quite some time now and the initial reports claimed that it will be released sometime in 2022. However, the recent reports suggest otherwise and we are certain Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is not going to be released until 2023.
In 2022 though, we have some interesting games to look out for like the Gotham Knights, Hogwarts Legacy, and Lego Star Wars.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Platform & More
The trailers have delighted the fans and the graphics and gameplay certainly look top-notch, something we can expect from Rocksteady. Although we do not know when we are going to finally play this much-awaited game, we have confirmed the news that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will release for all current-generation systems, including Xbox Series S|X, PS5, and PC.
The cinematics of the gameplay is phenomenal and we are also confident that it will have a storyline that is going to be a memorable experience. In addition to that, the game is going to get a four-player co-op option, something that we have enjoyed in the more recent games. The next-gen visuals look like a gamechanger and ever since the trailer was released, it has gotten over 241K likes on YouTube.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Trailer and Gameplay
A bit less than three minutes, the trailer takes us through the first real look of the game. It opens with Captain Boomerang making a video of himself and talking about the next target, The Flash. Throughout the trailer, we get to see Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern. On the other hand, we get to see the DC villains like Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and King Shark as well, all working for a woman named Amanda Waller.
From the title itself, we totally know their intentions and missions, killing the Justice League. We do not know for sure whether we are going to see Batman in this game but Rocksteady has confirmed for us that the game will be based in the same universe as the Arkham series.
We can totally expect Batman to appear, some time or the other in the course of the game. Also, we are expecting other superheroes to step in too like Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Cyborg, and Aquaman. Whether we are going to see them all or just a few is still a surprise to unfold.
The gameplay seems pretty interesting as well. Open-world gameplay where four people can play together in the co-op mode definitely sets the tone right for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Players who prefer playing alone can select one squad to control in the game and can even switch as per preference. The open world of Metropolis is definitely interesting and the game allows you to explore it in different ways.
As of now, we have no information on the pre-order options but once the release date is confirmed, we will know more about the editions and options of pre-ordering the game as well.
