Borgen Season 4 Storyline

This show is a political drama and deals with serious topics. The fans of the show sternly believe that the main character, Birgitte Nyborg has been derived from the first female prime minister of Denmark, Helle Thorning Schmidt. Although we can see the lead as the prime minister once she was elected in season 2.

Even the creator of the show, Adam Price has given hints about it by saying, “I definitely want you to believe there is a shred of idealism in Birgitte Nyborg that is real. She’s also become a very professional political being, but there is definitely that idealism, and that’s important.”

We also see Katrine Fonsmark is now heading nationwide television. The fans have seen dynamic performances from the characters. As there was a long break, the storyline is beyond speculation. So, it’s hard for anyone to think about the storyline since no hints were provided. However, an official synopsis has been updated by Netflix.

It states, “The series deals with some of the biggest political issues of our time; the relevance of the Danish Realm in the modern world, the superpowers’ battle for control of the Arctic – and not least, the climate crisis. The main story focuses on the struggle for power and what power does to people – both professionally and on a personal level.”
