How I Met Your Father Season 2 Expected Plot?
It is the life story of Sophie, who is telling everything about her younger self to her son. The storyline is set in the future, 2050 where she is recalling her beautiful memories and how she ended up meeting the love of her life. Sophie is a New York-based photographer who is fun and hopelessly romantic.
She believes in love and cannot wait to find her soulmate. The story shows the exciting life of Sophie, her friends’ group that makes her life complete. They date many men, share bonds, and live a good life in the city. Even though they are struggling as some are in their late 20s as well as early 30s, they are finding ways to find true love in the dominant age of internet dating.
On asking about the similarities with the OG show, Hilary replied, “By no means is the show the same as it used to be. Sophie is not Ted, and there is no one pretending to be Barney in this story.”
It is true that this series not only puts a lot more emphasis but also highlights more of the female perspective. The creators as well as executive producers, Craig Thomas and Carter Bays are fully in support of that. If you rewind to the pilot of the show, it opens in Ted, Lily, and Marshall’s apartment but the show started with a different thought process.
Even the showrunners, Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker agree with it and said that the conclusion has not been decided yet. The only similarity is maybe the starting and the initial idea of the show. So, what’s coming next in the second season is hard to tell.
How I Met Your Father Cast?
The cast consists of the biggest names in the industry. Of course, Hilary Duff is the lead as Sophie. She has her roommate Valentina played by Francia Raisa, Chris Lowell playing the friend Jesse, Tom Ainsley as Charlie, the British boyfriend of Valentina, Suraj Sharma as Sid for the owner of Pemberton, Tien Tran for Ellen, and Josh Peck playing Drew, the new love interest of Sophie.
On the other hand, Leighton Meester is seen as Meredith who was the reason behind breaking Jesse’s heart, and finally Ashley Reyes for Hannah who is Sid’s fiancée. Hopefully, the entire story will focus on these main characters and there will be some cameos.
How I Met Your Father is just on the way to creating history. It is surprising how the creators managed to keep it different despite having quite a similar title. As the show is coming for season 2, will it be renewed for many more seasons? We think that there are chances.
