‘The Marvels’ and ‘Ant-Man 3’ Just Swapped Release Date Statuss for 2023

When can we expect Ant-Man 3 to hit theaters? After finding Hank Pym’s old Ant-Man suit, Scott Lang had no idea that he would find himself facing off against insane CEOs, molecularly unstable superspies, and an army led by Thanos himself. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Scott and Hope van Dyne will embark on their biggest (or tiniest) journey yet.

Ant-Man 3 is definitely following in the footsteps of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which involves diving into alternate timelines, new worlds, and the universe itself. The Quantum Realm was briefly introduced in the previous movie as a tiny world that exists right in front of our eyes. It appears that Scott and Hope will delve deeper into this weird new reality in the next sequel despite the fact that Hank Pym has already saved his long-lost love, Janet Van Dyne.

Who are these heroes and what are they up to in Quantumania? Who’s in it? The trailer isn’t here. Who is the bad guy? Don’t be alarmed, though. We’ve gone inside the Quantum Realm to bring you all the information you need on the release date of Ant-Man 3.

What Is The Release Date For Ant-Man 3?

The bad news is that we won’t be seeing Quantumania on the big screen for quite some time. Phase 4’s penultimate chapter will be released on July 28th, 2023, according to current estimates.

The release date of the sequel has already been shifted several times, first to February 2023, then back to July 2022, and again back to July 2022. This isn’t a surprise, given that the epidemic has had a major impact on the entertainment industry.

Keep in mind that Disney Plus has a ton of additional Marvel movies and TV shows to keep you entertained in the meantime. Before Quantumania comes along in 2023, we’ll have both Nia DaCosta’s The Marvels and James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3. As a result, Marvel devotees won’t be left in the dark in the months leading up to the sequel.

Plot Of Ant-Man 3: What Happens In Ant-Man 3?

Some elements about the plot of Ant-Man 3 have been leaked, but Marvel is still keeping it under wraps. Our heroes are going to have their work cut out for them with the addition of Bill Murray to the ensemble as a mysterious adversary; we have no idea who he is playing just yet.

For South of Heaven, Evangeline Lilly shared with us that she thinks Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the finest one yet. Because of this, we can at least look forward to whatever Marvel has in store for us.

We already know who Scott and Hope will face in addition to Murray, according to an intriguing casting tidbit. Kang the Warrior. A mysterious time-traveling ruler has indeed arrived in the Quantum Realm. Jonathan Majors, best known for his role in Lovecraft Country, joins Quantumania as Kang in September 2020, according to Deadline.

An alternate Kang, He Who Remains, appears at the end of Loki as a method to prevent a multiverse conflict with other Kang variations by creating the Time Variance Authority. Majors, on the other hand, will portray a very different version of the infamous villain when he appears in Quantumania. “The character is different, so you move a different way; my psychology has shifted because of the character. He’s just a different guy,” he said.

“He Who Remains is not in Ant-Man. It’s Kang. But the people surrounding us – the cast, my leading man Paul Rudd – that’s different.”, the actor continued. This person’s name is Kang. It’s the individuals we’re surrounded by—the actors, Paul Rudd—unique.” that’s Because Paul’s not Tom [Hiddleston],” he continues. “Because Paul’s not Tom [Hiddleston]. This is a movie, not a TV show. I’ve been here since the beginning and I came in at the end on Loki.”

It’s unclear if Kang will make his MCU debut in Quantumania or if he will emerge from the Quantum Realm as the Avengers did during Avengers: Endgame. One thing is for sure: Ant-Man and the Wasp are going to have a tough time with it. Many of Kang’s aliases and titles have changed over time, from Rama-Tut to Immortus to the heroic Iron Lad. Is There A Trailer For Ant-Man 3?

The trailer for Ant-Man 3 hasn’t been released yet, but that’s not a surprise because it’s still more than a year and a half away from its debut. Peyton Reed, the film’s director, just announced on Twitter that production had been completed, and he thanked his fans for their support.

Principal photography on Ant-Man and the Wasp: “Principal photography on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is now complete! Can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been up to…” We can expect a trailer to be released sometime in the second half of 2022, once Marvel Studios has completed post-production work on the movie.

When Reed tweeted about Quantumania, it wasn’t the first time he’d done it. While getting ready to start production, he shared an image of the Stagecraft technology. Screens are used to create a 3D environment for actors to work in on the new stage design. When it comes to shooting in the Quantum Realm, we’d wager on Reed employing Stagecraft.

Is Ant-Man 3 Going To Have Any New Characters?

Ant-Man 3 will see the return of Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, played by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, respectively. Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne will also appear in the film. That familial relationship will be interesting to watch after all those years where Janet was locked in the Quantum Realm and Hank was bitter and alone. Jonathan Majors, as Kang the Conqueror, will face them as well.

Cassie Lang’s daughter, Cassie Lang, will be played by Detective Pikachu’s Kathryn Newton, who is also a rookie in the MCU. So it’s feasible that in addition to Ant-Man and the Wasp she may suit up in the sequel as the enormous hero Stature.

Then there’s Bill Murray, who joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time in Quantum Mania. “You know, I made a Marvel movie recently, I’m probably not allowed to tell you, but whatever,” he said to the German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung when asked about the revelation.

On Bring It On, he said he enjoyed working with Peyton Reed so much that he opted to work with him again. “Some people were pretty surprised why I decided on a project like this, of all things. But for me, the situation was completely clear: I got to know the director, and really liked him.”

As he continued, “He was witty, humble, everything you want from a director. And with the cheerleader movie Bring It On, he had already made a film years ago, which I think is damn good.” Is it really time for Paul Rudd and Bill Murray to share the screen once more? We’ve decided to go with you.
