When Will The Daily Life Of The Immortal King Season 2 Releasing On Netflix?

Writer Kuxuan’s Chinese web novel, The Daily Life of the Immortal King got famous after having a daily serialization in 2017. On June 30th, 2021, the novel consisted of as many as 1,880 chapters. Now, out of that 1,176 chapters are available in the English version.

After that, it got an anime adaptation and there have been two seasons. However, after Netflix launched the first season that was primarily exclusively available in China, fans are eagerly waiting for The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 2 to be premiering on Netflix. Will it finally come to Netflix?

What Is The Tentative Release Date Of The Daily Life Of The Immortal King Season 2? 

This is categorized as a Chinese donghua series that is the patent and authentic style of Chinese animation.  In fact, the term donghua is the colloquial term that defines Chinese animation. The first season launched on 18th January 2020. Bilibili is the producer of the series and to stream it internationally, Funimation takes the charge.

The first season ended at 15 episodes on March 28, 2020. The second season was released on 30th October 2021 and after 12 engaging episodes, it concluded on 8th January 2022.

Moreover, there will be a third season that will hit the screens soon but the date is not disclosed. Now, The Daily Life of the Immortal King has a huge number of international fans After Netflix has got the exclusive rights for international distribution, fans are becoming restless for season 2.

However, there is no news regarding the streaming service releasing the second season. On the other hand, Funimation has confirmed the return of both seasons. So, for the time being, you can check that out.

 As it has been only a few months since the second season ended. To be fair, it certainly takes time for any international show to land on Netflix. Thus, you can hope for a late 2022 release or an early 2023 premiere.

The show highlights the protagonist, Wang Ling who is almost invincible and has powers that are unimaginable and beyond any control. But when he will turn sixteen, he will be having the biggest battle of his life. He is attending his Senior High School and is constantly facing one after another life-threatening challenge. He isn’t having a low-key school life like any normal kid.

The show’s synopsis reads as:

As a cultivation genius who has achieved a new realm every two years since he was a year old, Wang Ling is a near-invincible existence with powers far beyond his control. But now that he’s sixteen, he faces his greatest battle yet – Senior High School. With one challenge after another popping up, his plans for a low-key high school life seem further and further away.

For catering the western audiences, Netflix has dubbed it into English. But still, the Chinese voice actors were the key reason for giving a lively nature to this series. So, the original voice actors who provided life to these characters are:

The show did make a surprise entry in the Western countries since Netflix suddenly got the acquisition of a Chinese animation that never happened before. So, if there is a season 2, then nothing can get better.
