According to some estimations, DMX’s net worth was more than $1 million in the red when he died. But don’t forget that he had also left behind $17.7 million in recording and publishing royalties.

Because DMX was never married and left no will when he died, his estate will be divided evenly among his 15 kids under New York law. However, it’s still unclear how much money each person will receive. After all of DMX’s debts to the IRS and other creditors have been paid, his estate can then be split among his beneficiaries.

Another Kid Claiming to Be DMX’s Daughter!

DMX’s property and estate are already the subject of much debate. His 15 children are waiting in the courtroom for their father’s fate to be decided. Allegedly, they are all entitled to a portion of their father’s wealth. There’s even another person out there claiming to be DMX’s daughter amid all of this.

Just like the rapper’s other 15 children, Raven Barmer-Simmons filed a lawsuit to recover her projected share of her father’s estate. Also, she’s been trying to get in touch with the rapper’s other 15 children, in order to tell them that she’s a member of their family, too. In addition, she is extremely confident in her claim to be a kid of DMX.

Her paternity will be confirmed in the near future thanks to a paternity test she is scheduled to undergo. In order to establish the validity of her claim, the court has made it clear that she must first provide a valid DNA test. In the event that she proves her claim to be absolutely right, DMX’s estate will provide her with a piece of his legacy. Stay tuned with us only on leedaily.com
