Johnny Depp: All the celebrities who have supported the Pirates of the Caribbean star have been in the talks after the high-profile case is getting all the attention. The defamation trial that had brought the life of two of the biggest celebrities in the limelight, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are involved in a high-profile case.
Amber Heard had accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse while they were in a relationship. After repeatedly claiming Depp to be an abuser, her 2018 op-ed that was published in The Washington Post was the last thing that Johnny needed.
He then sued Heard for $50 million as she was allegedly tarnishing Depp’s reputation whereas Heard countersued him for $100 million.

Now, many of Depp’s exes and friends came in support of Depp as this case is quite messy. And it is for sure that both Amber and Johnny are somewhat at fault. Winona Ryder
During the case with The Sun, a British newspaper that addressed Depp as a “wife-beater”, the ex from Depp’s famous love story came in support of him. Winona Ryder defended her ex-lover and clearly supported him throughout the trial.
She said, “The idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved,” “He was never, never violent towards me. He has never been violent or abusive towards anybody I have seen.”
Javier Bardem
After working with the icon Depp, “Before Night Falls” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”. Again, in the 2020 trial, Bardem said to People magazine.
“I love Johnny. He has always been a true gentleman and an extremely generous and caring friend to my family and myself.” “On top of that, I’ve had the gift of working with him twice and have experienced his respectful attitude towards every single member of the crew alongside his unique and hilarious sense of humor.”
Bardem couldn’t stop saying how good of a man Johnny is and he is accidentally trapped in the lies and toxicity.
Penelope Cruz
Bardem’s wife, Penelope Cruz who was also a co-star of Depp in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise had praised Depp. She claimed him to be sweet, kind, and also very protective. Even when she was pregnant, Johnny took good care of her.
Sia
Sia is one such person who loves to stay out of the problem. But in this case, musician Sia tweeted, “Just showing my public support for Johnny Depp.” “I mean, I’d love him to get clean and stop with the jewelry, but he is clearly the victim after hearing those tapes.”
She was sweet enough to share her opinions amidst this trial which did help in bringing some extra points on Johnny’s side.
Eva Mendes
The co-star of Johnny’s 2012 film, “Dark Shadows”, French actress Eva Mendes recently made an Instagram post that was full of appreciation about Depp. The post was made as the US defamation trial is happening. She captioned the post, “I have no doubt Johnny will emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world, and life will be better than it ever was for him and his family.”
She believes that Depp will come out victorious in this case.
Vanessa Paradis
Paradis, the French singer-songwriter dated Depp years back and she didn’t shy away from providing written support to her ex-partner. In fact, she is the mother of Johnny’s two children and they were with each other for 14 long years.
She was there for his UK libel case, and wrote, “I have known Johnny for more than 25 years. We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together,” “Through all these years I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father.”
