Rowan Atkinson is set to return to physical comedy in a new Netflix series titled Man Vs Bee, which follows a man as he battles a pesky insect.
Atkinson is a household name thanks to the worldwide success of his slapstick character Mr. Bean, and Netflix is banking on the star’s ability to connect with a wide audience.

What Is the Release Date of Man Vs Bee?
Streaming service Netflix will feature Man vs Bee on June 24, joining a slew of other summer releases. Only 10 minutes long, it will be made up of 10 separate episodes.

In a statement, Netflix explained the premise of the new show: “Rowan Atkinson, a well-known actor, and comedian take on a new role in this raucous comedy. While housesitting a lavish estate, a man finds himself embroiled in a battle with a bee. Who will prevail, and how much damage will be done that cannot be undone?”

Man Vs Bee Cast
We now know who else will be appearing in Man Vs. Bee in addition to Rowan Atkinson. Rowan Atkinson’s character is house-sitting for mansion owner Nina, played by Crazy Rich Asians star Jing Lusi.
Greg McHugh (Fresh Meat) plays the Gardener, Bridget Jones’s Baby actor Julian Rhind-Tutt plays Nina’s husband Christian, and White Lines star India Fowler plays a character named Maddy.
Trevor’s ex-wife is played by Claudie Blakley (Manhunt), and the police officer is played by Tom Basden (After Life).
