Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 could affect a lot of future Star Wars projects, especially if Omega turns out to be sensitive to the Force after all. Clone Force 99 will come out in the second half of 2022, so it’s time to start speculating about what will happen next. So, here’s what we know so far about Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, including the plot, the trailer, and the release date.
Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 1 was so popular that Disney renewed it before the end of Season 1. It was a great way for Star Wars to connect some of the dots between the original and prequel trilogies.
It also gave a more realistic view of the war between Jedi and Sith by focusing on individuals instead of the war as a whole. The show had a lot of cameos, but as Season 1 went on, it became more consistent.

Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 PLot
The first season of The Bad Batch had its ups and downs, but it was a good season as a whole. Even if it didn’t do anything else, it set up important foundations by introducing a lot of minor characters through cameos, and Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 has a lot of room to continue this theme.
For example, more needs to be done to find out where Captain Rex and Gregor are, and a young Hera Syndulla needs to show up again. There’s even room for other characters, like Boba Fett, Commander Cody, or Commander Wolfe, to show up in Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2.
The last two episodes of Season 1 went off. The whole series has been about how the Empire wants to get rid of clone troopers from its army, but in the last two episodes, Admiral Rampart destroyed Kamino’s Tipoca City to show that the Empire meant what it said.
But that wasn’t the end of the episode. In the last scene, the Kaminoan’s head scientist, Nala Se, arrived reluctantly on a mysterious planet. Many people have thought that she might be on the planet Wayland, at Mount Tantiss. In Star Wars Legends, Palpatine kept all of his Sith artefacts and cloning facilities there. So, The Bad Batch might not be done with clones even though Kamino is gone. Season 2 is likely to start setting up Palpatine’s plans to make a copy of himself.
There are a lot of directions that Season 2 could take, but the basic premise will remain the same. Clone Force 99 will still be on the run from the Empire while Crosshair pursues them across the galaxy. Although many fans expected Crosshair’s redemption by the end of Season 1, it didn’t happen because he was determined to serve the Empire.
Does The Star Wars Bad Batch Season 2 Have A Trailer?
The trailer that came out after the Star Wars Celebration in 2022 didn’t tell us much about the plot, but it did give us a few important talking points. For one thing, Clone Force 99 has a new grey and orange paint job and a small jump in time. It also showed Cid the Trandoshan and her well-known parlor coming back.
Also interesting was the sudden appearance of Gungi, a Jedi apprentice from The Clone Wars, and the menacing cameo of Emperor Palpatine, who told the Galactic Senate that a “new era” had begun. We hope that this is just a taste of what Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 will have in store for us when it comes out.
