After posting a $3,500 bail bond, Jeff Hardy was released from Volusia County Jail in Florida on Monday evening at 7:07 pm EDT with the help of a bail bondsman. A court appearance for Hardy on Tuesday at 1:30 pm ET has been canceled, according to the most recent information. The cancellation of the event has not been explained in detail.
Early on Monday morning, Hardy was taken into custody on charges of “DUI Alcohol/Drugs 3rd Offense within 10 Years,” “Driving While License Cancelled/Suspended” and “Violating Restrictions Placed On Driver’s License.” Hardy was set to appear in court on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. local time, according to Volusia County records, after being arrested on Monday at 12:45 p.m. local time. Court appearances have been canceled, according to an earlier report.
After being pulled over for “swerving” and “running off” the road, the Florida Highway Patrol said Hardy was “in a stupor and confused” in the arrest report.

According to the police report, Hardy was “unsteady and smelled of alcohol” throughout the field sobriety tests and was unable to finish “any portion” of them. Breathalyzer results from two cops, one reading 0.294, and one reading 0.291, both well above the 0.08 legal limit, have been reported.
He was driving a white Dodge Charger along 1-95 when Trooper Zach Steiner pulled him over “without incident.” Hardy’s irresponsible driving was also the subject of four 911 calls.

Jeff Hardy has been involved in a number of legal disputes throughout his career. He was sentenced to 10 days in prison for cocaine trafficking in 2011. A public intoxication charge in July and a drunk driving arrest in October were the only things he had to deal with in 2019. Hardy’s current DUI allegation is made more serious by the two 2019 arrests included in the Florida Highway Patrol arrest report on Monday.
