After a nearly seven-week trial in Virginia involving claims of domestic abuse and sexual assault, a jury found that Heard defamed Depp on all counts and awarded him $10.35 million in damages. The defamation complaint failed, but in her countersuit, the jury decided that Depp defamed Heard through his attorney, and the jury awarded her $2 million.

An insider told People magazine: “The trial was essential, but he is relieved it’s finished now. Even if he is relieved by the jury’s decision, he is not gloating about it.”
