Kourtney Kardashian’s hubby, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has been taken to the hospital for an unspecified medical issue. TMZ was the first to report that the musician was taken to the nearby West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday morning after having a health scare.
When he arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he was taken there by ambulance for further treatment. Barker’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Times. As shown in TMZ’s photographs, medical personnel carried Barker on a stretcher behind Kardashian, who was dressed in a black hoodie and sweatpants.

While in the hospital, Barker tweeted “God save me.” It’s still not clear if his 10:45 a.m. Pacific tweet has anything to do with his health issues. Alabama Luella Barker, Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, requested her Instagram followers to “please send your prayers” Tuesday evening.

According to People, Barker was hospitalized and readmitted to the hospital in 2018 owing to blood clots in both arms. He also had staph and cellulitis, a bacterial infection that can cause edema, inflammation, and pain in addition to the clots. In a 2021 interview with Men’s Health, the drummer said that a plane crash in 2008 left him with 65 percent of his body burned to the third degree. After the accident in which four of the six passengers died, he decided to stop taking prescription medication.
Barker’s whirlwind romance with Kardashian has put him in the public eye recently. In May of 2021, after a lengthy courtship, the pair married in a grandiose ceremony in Portofino, Italy. “The Kardashians” Hulu reality series documented their relationship in great detail.
Aside from his relationships with the Kardashians, Barker performed at the 94th Academy Awards and worked with his mentor Jxdn on two songs that were dedicated to the late TikTok star Cooper Noriega. Stay tuned with us only on Lee Daily
