July 4th is American Independence Day, and most businesses will be closed on Monday, July 4th, to honor the occasion. Residents of all towns and cities are expected to celebrate Independence Day with barbecues, fireworks, and patriotic attire.

Are Banks Open on the 4th of July?
Most US financial institutions follow the holidays set by the Federal Reserve System. The Fourth of July is a federal holiday in the United States and a Bank Holiday, meaning that all federal government offices and banks in the country will be closed.
Banks listed here will be closed for business on Monday, 4th July, and will reopen on the 5th.

However, the banks’ digital tools including internet banking, as well as ATMs, will continue to operate. Mobile and online banking solutions are available to citizens who want to transfer money from the comfort of their own homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In order to check your balance, wire money, and perform other banking-related activities, many banks provide apps available on Google Play Store or Apple Store. Several ATMs offer the opportunity to deposit checks as well.
Bank websites and other digital media tools generally require registration before July 4th in order for customers to access them. Do not hesitate to visit your local branch and activate the facility if necessary.
Is the US Stock Market open?
US major exchanges will be closed on Monday, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and Nasdaq.
Are Post Offices Working?
This year, the United States Postal Service recognizes the Fourth of July as one of ten recognized federal holidays. This year’s 4th of July mail and parcels will not be delivered by the US Postal Service. The 4th of July will not be accepted as a delivery day by FedEx or UPS unless it is absolutely necessary, as these companies operate on their own schedules during these times.
