Starting his crime in the 1970s, he continued to make the lives of women miserable in the 1980s and 1990s as well. There have been many different allegations and convictions that Floyd had against him. These are molestation, abduction, assault, and even robbery.
The Netflix documentary, “Girl In The Picture” detailed the harrowing crimes of this criminal. Back in 1962, Floyd was convicted of kidnapping a 4-year-old girl. He was charged with child molestation and was given a sentence of 10 to 20 years to serve in prison. However, he managed to flee the prison after a year and then executed a robbery in Citizens & Southern National Bank situated in Macon, Georgia.
Again, the police caught him and he was charged with robbery. Naturally, he was sent behind the bars. After serving less than a decade, he was released in November 1972. But the series of crimes he was going to do next was spine-chilling.
Soon after his release, he tried to sexually assault a woman by groping her in January 1973. The authorities did arrest him but he was out on bail and was on a run until June 11, 1973, when he should be up for a court hearing.
This was the beginning of Franklin’s unforgivable deeds. He started to be known by many different names. In fact, Netflix’s “Girl In The Picture” is about the criminal’s involvement with Tonya Hughes who was also known as Sharon Marshall.
Tonya suddenly died in 1990 and he claimed to the authorities to be Tonya’s husband, Clarence Hughes. Together, they were parents to their son, Michael. But soon it would be discovered that the victim who died wasn’t Tonya Hughes and he was in no way the biological father Michael. As a matter of fact, her real name was Sharon Marshall.
As things were uncovered more in “Girl In the Picture,” it was disclosed that Lloyd left Tampa along with Marshall and settled in New Orleans. There they chose to go by different names. Thus, the names Clarence Hughes and Tonya Hughes. The couple even got legally married.
However, a bigger twist was also waiting to be unfolded. Recently, in 2014, the authorities found out the true identity of Sharon Marshall. Interestingly, her real name was something else. Sharon’s original name is Suzanne Marie Sevaskis who was the daughter of Sandi Chipman. Well, the surprises do not end here.
You cannot believe what you will hear next. Sandi Chipman was married to Floyd and he went with the name Brandon Williams at that time. Floyd kidnapped Suzzane aka Tonya who he raised like his daughter only to marry her in the future.
It all happened when Chipman was behind the bars for 30-days in 1975. Using this opportunity, Floyd just vanished from Chipman’s life after kidnapping Suzzane, another two daughters, and brother Philip. Later she located Alison and Amy who were taken care of by the local church social services. But both Suzzane and Philip were nowhere to be found.

Floyd was one of the most heinous human beings ever born. Remember Michael? He kidnapped Michael and even tortured his principal named James Davis. He was tied to a tree until the passers-by located him. The criminal was arrested in November 1994. He even murdered Commesso in 1989. Floyd was later sentenced to death.

What Are The Latest Updates On Franklin Delano? Where Is He Now?
The 79-years old killer is on death row at the Union Correctional Institution in Florida. When the trial for Commesso’s murder happened in 2001, the judge considered him to be mentally incompetent to even proceed in a trial. So, he was sent for a mental assessment. He refused to have any sort of evaluation and claimed that he is fit for taking a trial.
The trial finally started in 2002 and without a doubt, he was given the death sentence. As per the FBI report, Special Agent Scott Lobb stated: “Michael was being a typical 6-year-old. He was out of control, and that pushed Floyd over the edge.” “Floyd felt the pressure and he just ran out of patience. He turned and looked at me and said, ‘I shot him twice in the back of the head to make it real quick.'”
His remains were buried in Oklahoma only and this had put an end to the crimes of Lloyd.
