Even though the show is called “The Bachelorette,” season 19 will have an exciting twist: instead of one woman looking for love, there will be two. That’s right, the two runners-up from The Bachelor season 26 are also in this new episode of the series.

ABC gives this summary of what will happen in the next season of The Bachelorette:

“Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia are fan favorites and strong women. In the season 26 finale of The Bachelor, they stood by each other’s sides when they both broke up with their boyfriends. Now, as they try to find love, they are again there for each other. The next season of The Bachelorette, number 19, will feature both of them. Jesse Palmer will return as the show’s host.”

As was already said, this season will be led by two people who were on season 26 of The Bachelor, when Clayton Echard was the bachelor. Gabby Windey is the first woman who wants to find love. Windey was born and raised in O’Fallon, Illinois. She later moved to Colorado, where she became a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos and then an ICU nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Rachel Recchia is going to work with Windey. Recchia was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Florida. She is a flight instructor and a commercial pilot in addition to being a reality TV star.

Jesse Palmer is the host for the 19th season. Palmer has been a host before. He used to play football for the New York Giants and was a contestant on The Bachelor. He was the official host of season 26 of The Bachelor, taking over for longtime host Chris Harrison. He has also been a special guest on Good Morning America more than once.
