Moon Knight Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And Trailer

Whoever predicted a happy ending for Marvel’s Moon Knight, a very goofy, Charlie Kaufman-Esque voyage into the hero’s mind, is probably having second thoughts about their MCU allegiance now.

Ethan Hawke was learning the marvels of CGI in Moon Knight’s season 2. At the same time, Marc Spector and Steven Grant’s antics, as well as a post-credits scene hinting at Arthur Harrow, could have a looser grasp on reality than our hero, all blended to create a superhero smoothie.

We have a sneaking suspicion that Oscar Isaac isn’t done with the MCU just yet, given the way Moon Knight concludes with the surprise revelation of a third identity. According to Moon Knight, writer Jeremy Slater, Kevin Feige, and Isaac are in charge of the future of Moon Knight.

A lot of those decisions will ultimately fall to Kevin Feige because he has the master plan, Slater told The Playlist. “Oscar Isaac, of course, because he doesn’t have a regular seven-film deal like other performers. Oscar can do as much or as little Moon Knight as he like. I think he had a terrific time portraying the part, and I believe he was pleased with the experience and himself for undertaking it. But I also believe he’s not the writer who will hurriedly produce a sequel simply because the previous one was so well received.”

Isaac has talked about his future as a character, and it appears he’s open to returning.

In an interview with Variety, Isaac revealed that he had heard of “the golden handcuffs,” which would allow him to continue being a superhero indefinitely. “The good news is that we’ve all agreed to concentrate on [Moon Knight]. This is how it went down. As for the future, I guess it all depends on whether or not people like it if they want to see more, and if we can come up with a compelling plot.”

You’re aware of our new responsibilities, aren’t you? To hypothesize about the nature of the story. Everything we know about Moon Knight’s future is here.

Moon Knight Season 2 Release Date

Unfortunately, Marvel didn’t extend its customary politeness by telling us that “so-and-so” will return after the series or film on a particular hero concludes as normal.

Moon Knight season 2 does not have a release date, and, as of April 2022, it’s unlikely to get one. Isaac has been pretty clear that he sees Moon Knight as a limited series and not an ongoing show. “I’d never heard of Moon Knight before, and I collected comics when I was younger.

As a result, we are unable to conjecture too much. According to our best guess, we’ll soon see Moon Knight back in the superhero sandbox with his companions in crime-fighting. The ones from the comic books, at least. Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Jake Lockley are expected to visit Blade or Black Knight before the second season of Moon Knight is released by Disney.

Moon Knight Season 2 Plot

The name of Jake Lockley is here. Jake Lockley may appear. As we see Marc Spector’s third (and new!) identity, he takes Arthur Harrow from the psychiatric institution and shoots him in the head as the season finale of Moon Knight Season 2 begins. Although we don’t know for sure if Lockley’s death is reversible or even imagined, we do know that he’s a character straight out of the comics.

He’s been portrayed as Moon Knight’s most violent character in the past. However, Season 2 may depict a conflict between Lockley and Spector/Grant. Even though the finale leads you to assume that Spector and Grant are no longer Moon Knight, Lockley’s association with the god suggests that the trio is still devoted to Khonshu. Meanwhile, we’d like to see more of May Calamawy’s Scarlet Scarab; the Egyptian superhero Layla transforms into the series’ final moments.

We’ll pray to the Marvel gods for Isaac to return to the MCU no matter what. We are confident that Jesus will not abandon us.

Moon Knight Season 2 Cast

Oscar Isaac would most likely reprise his role as Moon Knight Season 2 if the show were renewed for a second season. Marc and Steven are likely to show up, too. But the wonderful thing about Moon Knight is that you never know which of his personalities will appear in any given scenario.

This time, he needs to bring his patron god with him. That means that F. Murray Abraham will likely return to the recording studio to lend his voice to Khonshu, the moon god. What about Layla El-(May Faouly’s Calamawy) decision to leave? Husbands? You’ll understand if we get a little lost in the shuffle.

Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow is the only Moon Knight we don’t expect to see again in any meaningful capacity. While we’ve enjoyed Hawke’s glass-crunching antics, we doubt he’ll return to Marvel soon. After all, he was shot in the head, making a comeback all but impossible.
