At San Diego Comic-Con, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had its opportunity to shine amidst a crowded schedule of Marvel Studios announcements. Now standing as the final installment in Phase 4, the Black Panther sequel has a great deal of burden on its huge shoulders.
This movie had a fantastic presentation in Hall H, which culminated with the first Wakanda Forever trailer being uploaded online for the world to take in. While Tenoch Huerta’s Namor the Sub-Mariner stole the show by making his MCU debut, the teaser mostly focused on a number of important returning players from the hugely successful first movie.
Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia kicked the footage off by appearing in one of the first frames before Letitia Wright’s Shuri and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda paid honor to the late T’Challa, played by MCU legend Chadwick Boseman. Now, as part of the movie’s promotional tour, audiences get one more memorable image from San Diego Comic-Con as the 2022 event comes to a finale.

Black Panther 2 Heroes Shine on Poster
Marvel’s Angélique Roché revealed a new poster on Twitter for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther 2 following the movie’s debut in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Letitia Wright’s Shuri stands in the middle with her eyes closed and her arms folded in true Wakandan fashion.

Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia stands to her left and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda to her right, both assuming identical positions as the late Chadwick Boseman’s King T’Challa stares down on them in his Black Panther mask. Roché included a brief caption of “The sheer power.”
Wakandan Women Leading Black Panther 2’s Efforts
While the first official poster of Black Panther 2 focused on remembering Chadwick Boseman’s memory, as the movie will do all the way through, this new one places three of its key characters into the limelight.
Without Boseman, Black Panther 2 will be much more of a team effort in terms of who takes on the greatest responsibility from an acting and plot aspect. It only makes it natural that Shuri, Nakia, and Ramonda will be the most responsible for carrying that burden as T’Challa’s sister, love interest, and mother, respectively.
As has been the case during the sequel’s short promotional tour, this new poster honors Boseman’s accomplishments as T’Challa while looking to the future with all three characters included.
Shuri, Nakia, and Ramonda will be Wakanda’s most vital protectors as the country launches into combat against Namor the Sub-Mariner, and the Atlanteans, which should be a key plot aspect in this movie. That will be mixed with plenty of emotion and drama, all while Wakanda Forever ushers in a new phase of the Multiverse Saga for the MCU.
On November 11, the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters. Stay tuned with us only on Lee Daily
