It’s possible this incident, which occurred during a chess tournament in Moscow, may be mentioned in the opening chapter of a future history of the development of robots. What happened is still up for question, but it appears that the child moved more quickly than expected, which may have contributed to the accident.
The boy’s finger was grabbed and pinched by the robotic arm in fast action, as seen on video. When the child’s finger is finally freed from its mechanical captor, the adults at the table rush to help. TASS news agency quotes Moscow Chess Federation president Sergey Lazarev as saying, “The robot broke the child’s finger”. “This is, of course, bad.”

As far as we can tell, we don’t know exactly what kind of robot this is or how it was programmed. Because of its design, it may not have realized that it was grasping the finger of a child while moving the pieces on the board. To our relief, the young man involved seemed to have suffered little psychological damage as a result of the occurrence, as he was able to continue playing the following day with his finger in a cast and finish the tournament.
We don’t know if this was an instance of someone putting their hands where they weren’t supposed to go, or if the robot was acting aggressively – but we can’t have another occurrence like this one. “The robot was rented by us, it has been exhibited in many places, for a long time, with specialists,” Lazarev said. “The robot operators, apparently, will have to think about strengthening protection so that this situation does not happen again.”
All acquisition that advanced AI will destroy humanity is false. Not the powerful AI or breaching laws of robotics will destroy humanity, but engineers with both left hands :/

The necessity for safety precautions grows as machines and robots improve in strength and sophistication. Even while tragic events like this are nothing new, they serve as a sobering reminder of the importance of human-robot interfaces that are simple to use and include several safety features.
With the advent of artificial intelligence, which could allow machines to think for themselves, there is some fear that we will no longer be able to direct the actions of the robots that surround us. Despite the fact that this is a very serious and worrying situation, we can rest easy knowing that the robot uprising has not yet begun.
In order to ensure our safety, robots must strike a balance between being more exact and less flawed than we are while still ensuring that nothing goes wrong that could put humans in harm’s way. Stay tuned with us only on Lee Daily
