Season 14 of Married at First Sight has begun filming in San Diego, where the show will follow five couples who met there. Fans are still following the second batch of Boston couples as they await the outcome of Decision Day. The reunion program aired a little over a month ago. After the reunion, just one couple remained together and recently celebrated their first anniversary of marriage.
Only Olajuwon and Katina Dickerson are still married after a year
Only Olajuwon and Katina – and Steve and Noi – remained married at the end of the show’s reunion episode. It wasn’t until weeks after the reunion special aired, that Noi and Steve announced that they were ending their relationship.

The 23rd of July marked the first anniversary of the couple’s marriage. They went to New York City and had a great time partying and seeing the sights. In an Instagram post, both of them paid tribute to one another.
“This love feels like a fairy tale each and every day I open my eyes and glance at your smile,” Olajuwon captioned a set of photos part. “I finally learned the quote ” A man is only as strong as the women [sic] that stands beside him.”
Katina feels it was worth sticking with emotionally abusive Olajuwon
Many observers doubted the couple’s long-term viability. Katina and Olajuwon’s relationship was viewed as emotionally and verbally abusive by Married at First Sight viewers. Criticized the way she lived, the way she prepared food or cleaned, and the tone in which she spoke to him.
Katina, on the other hand, claims that seeing himself on television was enlightening for him. “A lot of people don’t get the opportunity to see how they are so when you get to watch yourself and how you come off, it’s like ‘Oh wow.’ You’re either going to be somebody that’s like ‘I don’t care or you’re going to be someone who’s going to be like ‘I really don’t like that about myself.’ So, for Olajuwon, he was like, ‘What? This was mean!’ “It was kind of like he was out of his body,” she said during an interview on the Are You My Podcast.
She went on to say that he had shown his dedication by changing his behavior. “Olajuwon’s actions showed me that he wanted to be a committed husband and since we got married, every day – I think people think it’s like he just snapped a finger and was like, ‘Oh I’m changed today.’ No. When I met him, it was like an every single day process,” she explained.
Why did the other Season 14 couples break up?
It appears that Noi and Steve are blaming each other for their breakup, based on their Instagram confirmations. Steve isn’t the loving husband he was depicted as on video, according to Noi. The opposite is true according to Steve: he thinks Noi is simply immature.
