American Horror Story season10’s finale will premiere on October 20th in the US, but it will also make its long-awaited debut in the UK. Fans in the UK have had to wait a bit longer than usual for Ryan Murphy’s most recent dark story, which debuted in the US back in August. To some surprise, the terrifying anthology series has found a new home on Disney Plus and is poised to return to UK borders just in time for Halloween.
The tenth season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s horror anthology television series American Horror Story, which airs on FX, is titled American Horror Story: Double Feature. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its production was put on hold and is now expected to debut in late 2020. On August 25, 2021, the season began. Red Tide, which takes place “by the sea,” and Death Valley, which takes place “by the sand,” are the two halves that make up the season.

American Horror Story Season 10 Release Date
CONFIRMED: On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, American Horror Story will make its first-ever Star on Disney Plus debut. Fans should be aware that spoilers had already started circulating online because this Halloween-friendly release date is a few months behind the US release, when the series debuted on August 25.
American Horror Story originally aired the day following its US transmission on FOX in the UK, thus it appears the delay may be related to the show’s shift to Disney Plus.
The episodes will still be released every week on Wednesdays, just as the spin-off program American Horror Stories, despite the change to a streaming service.
The coronavirus epidemic delayed the airing of the upcoming season of American Horror Story, which was initially scheduled to run on US network FX in 2020 with a premiere date predicted in mid-September.
The official postponement of American Horror Story season 10 till 2021 was announced by FX in May 2020. Filming eventually started in December 2020, because of a positive COVID-19 case, production was halted in July 2021.
Who Is In The American Horror Story Season 10?
With a large cast of recognizable faces periodically bolstered by intriguing new arrivals, American Horror Story has earned a reputation for its ongoing use of a repertory group of actors.
Season 10 won’t be any different, with Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin confirmed to join the existing AHS cast this time around in a video Murphy shared on his Instagram announcing who would feature in the season.
Model Kaia Gerber has also been revealed to be a part of the lineup for the upcoming run. Gerber’s first significant acting role—outside of two minor ones—will be as student Kendall Carr in Part 2: Death Valley.
At eleven years old, Ryan Kiera Armstrong (The Tomorrow War), who plays youthful prodigy Alma Gardner, will join American Horror Story’s main ensemble as the show’s youngest actress.
Will Netflix Release American Horror Story Season 10?
It is unknown if this will continue to be the case now that American Horror Story Season 10 is moving from FOX UK to Disney Plus. Netflix usually starts streaming each season of AHS about a year after it airs in the US.
Along with new cast members Macaulay Culkin and Ryan Reynolds, returning actors from prior seasons include Frances Conroy, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare, Robin Weigert, Dot-Marie Jones, and Cody Fern. Rebecca Dayan, Kaia Gerber, Neal McDonough, Kiera Armstrong, Nico Greetham, and Rachel Hilson.
Theme Of American Horror Story Season 10
Although Murphy acknowledged that he “flirted with aliens” and “flirted with [setting the season in] space” in November 2019, he seemed to imply that American Horror Story wouldn’t eventually go cosmic next season – until the poster was revealed. One by the water… and one by the sand,” Murphy teased about this year’s double-feature theme of two storylines in one season.
Both of the stories now have names: Part 1: Red Tide will be six episodes long and situated “by the sea,” while Part 2: Death Valley will be four episodes long and set “by the beach.”
Season 10 of AHS and Season 1 on AHStories were abysmal… but these last 2 episodes have me intrigued and with renewed faith. 🙌🏻 https://t.co/mPcz52BjjM

A second poster proposed a double creature feature, with Red Tide showcasing seashore vampires and Death Valley displaying aliens as the second narrative.
The Cape Cod location does suit the beach settings that we have been hearing about. Filming took place in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The name “Pilgrim” was used for the filming, which is interesting, however, it appears that this was only a code name for the production rather than a plot indication.
We received some storyline hints from the Part 1: Red Tide trailer, which also confirmed that Provincetown is a beach town. Red Tide follows Harry Gardner (Finn Whitrock) as he relocates his pregnant wife Doris (Lily Rabe) and little daughter Alma (Ryan Kiera Gardner) to the coastal village to treat his writer’s block. The plot of Red Tide appears to be a parody of The Shinin American Horror Story
American Horror Story Season 10 Official Trailer
Red Tide’s trailer, which has shades of The Shining, is filled with seashore frights and gives us our first glimpse of Macaulay Culkin in action. However, keep in mind that the US release date is included in the teaser; Double Feature will be released in the UK a bit later in October.
