Odell Beckham’s Relationship With Von Miller on the Bills Heats Up

It appears that Von Miller has stepped up his efforts to bring Odell Beckham Jr. to Buffalo. The Bills linebacker, 33, shared a Photoshopped image of the 29-year-old free agent wide out in a Buffalo uniform on his Instagram Story on Monday.

“@obj Let’s chase this ring … AGAIN,” Miller stated his former Rams teammate, with whom he won Super Bowl 2022 in February. Beckham, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl, posted the shot on his Instagram Story with the enigmatic statement, “Von don’t start this u know how it went last time…”

Beckham has not been bashful about his interest in the Buffalo Bills, even asking about the team’s locker room over the weekend. “@vonmiller what’s the locker next to u loook like 👀!!!??” Beckham added a comment to Miller’s Sunday Instagram image.

Miller, who recently got a six-year, $120 million contract with the Bills, was the man responsible for luring Beckham away from the Browns and onto the Rams last season. “Happy Birthday @obj I love you man! Frfr!” In early November, Von Miller posted on Instagram. “Come to the @rams so we can chase this ring together!!!”

Beckham moved to Los Angeles, and it was there that he and Miller won their first championship. Despite the fact that Miller has signed on to try to win a championship with the preseason Super Bowl favorites for the Bills, the Rams have shown interest in re-signing Beckham.

Beckham was recently interviewed by NFL Network from Rams training camp, and head coach Sean McVay had the chance to speak with him directly. “You lose big-time guys like an Andrew Whitworth, you lose a Von Miller. You know, hopefully, we’ll get Odell back at some point,” McVay said before adding, “If you’re out there, Odell, I know you heard that.”

After seeing McVay’s soundbite on Twitter, Beckham responded with, “Dats my dawg!!!!!!!” NFL source Jeremy Fowler speculates that Beckham, who was picked 12th overall by the Giants in 2014, may “take his time” in finding a new team.

“Beckham could take his time here,” Fowler spoke on ESPN in June. “Because talking to teams, they don’t expect Beckham to be healthy until October or maybe even November, as far as full go back from that ACL. “So, Beckham can take his time, maybe even wait until the first couple weeks of the season, and see who’s hot, who needs a receiver. He will likely go to a contender.”

On Thursday, September 8, the Rams will play host to the Bills for the first game of the season. Stay tuned with us only on Lee Daily
