Marvel Studios reclaimed the rights to the X-Men and numerous associated characters after Disney’s historic purchase of the film and television assets of 21st Century Fox. Since then, the mutants have officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans have been waiting impatiently to find out what Kevin Feige has in store for them. The X-Men fan uploaded a pretty cool piece of concept art on Instagram that turns Sadie Sink into (perhaps) the most potent mutant in the entire franchise.
The young actress is pictured with auburn hair and red-hued eyes, channeling Jean Grey’s Phoenix persona and displaying how stunning she may appear if given the chance to play the character on screen. Given Sadie Sink’s outstanding performance in the fourth season of Stranger Things, she would give a superb performance as the troubled mutant. She flawlessly captures the superhero’s famous appearance from the comics.

While the Sadie Sink photo is fantastic, Marvel Studios hasn’t said much about what they have in store for the X-Men. Only a small Easter egg near the end of the Ms. Marvel season finale served as a hint that they had entered the MCU. After Kamala defeats Agent Deever and successfully establishes herself as a superhero, the plot takes an intriguing turn.
She learns that she might have some sort of genetic “mutation” while speaking with Bruno about his investigation into her DNA. She is the only member of her family who has access to The Noor because of this. The X-Men theme tune plays in the background for a moment as the dialogue is happening.
Marvel hasn’t yet provided any other information regarding the X-Men, including Sadie Sink. So when the well-known characters do finally make their Marvel Cinematic Universe premiere, it’s uncertain who might be playing them. The company does, however, have its eyes set on having the Stranger Things star on board. As previously revealed by Giant Freakin Robot, Sadie Sink will join the MCU in the next Phase.
Although her character’s identity hasn’t been revealed, she’ll probably play Screaming Mimi, the Songbird of the Thunderbolts. The Thunderbolts have appeared in numerous comic book iterations over the years. However, the original characters, who made their appearance in the late 1990s after the Onslaught crossover event, are the most well-known.
Songbird is a complex character whose backstory includes multiple appearances as a villain before she transitions to a new position as a superhero in the Thunderbolts series. She rejoined the group in issue #144 after some time apart, and she later made an appearance as a supporting figure when the title changed to Dark Avengers.

Sadie Sink would make a fantastic Jean Grey and has the talent and emotional depth to embody this complex Marvel character. It would be interesting to see which franchise she eventually joins now that she has a deal with the production company.
