Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Spotted Out Together for First Time Since Oscars Slap

After the notorious Oscars slap in March, Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, were seen together in public for the first time. For the first time since Will, 53, struck Chris Rock on stage in defense of Jada, 50, at the 94th Academy Awards, the couple enjoyed an afternoon date at Nobu Malibu on Saturday. They seemed in good spirits, and the man with the beard Jada seemed to be holding onto Will’s belt loop as they headed to their car, and Will even threw the peace sign to a fan.

After Rock, 57, made fun of Jada’s hair loss (she’s been vocal about coping with alopecia), the disaster at the awards presentation in March came to a screeching halt. “I adore you, Jada. The former star of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air most recently offered Rock another apology last month by releasing a video across all of his social media platforms. “Chris responded to my message stating he wasn’t yet ready to talk, but that he would get in touch with me when he was.
