Twilight Director Regrets Turning Down Taylor Swift

We all missed out on a Taylor Swift cameo in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” Whoever took that decision probably regrets he hadn’t done so now.

Recently, on the podcast “The Twilight Effect with Ashley Greene and Melanie Howe,” director Chris Weitz said that he and Taylor Swift shared an agent at the time and that Swift’s agent told Weitz, “Taylor would like to be in this movie, not because of you, but she’s a Twi-hard.”

According to Weitz, the artist has shown a willingness to be interviewed by “someone at the cafeteria. She just wants to be in this movie.”

The idea of having such a famous actor or actress in the movie was shot down by the director.
“The hardest thing for me was to be like, the moment that Taylor Swift like walks onto the screen like, for about five minutes, nobody is going to be able to process anything,” Weitz said.

“I kick myself for it too, because I was like, wow, I could’ve been hanging out with Taylor Swift.”
She probably asked herself, “Who is this jerk?” as he explained. “But sometimes you make decisions thinking this is for the best of the film.”

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner were the three leading actors in the movie that was released in 2009. For more such updates do follow us only on Lee Daily
